I was surfing the internet and found something that was astonishing to me. What was astonishing to me is the number of websites that pramote taboo sex with everything from animals to children to family members. Is this what our world is comeing to? What happined to haveing moral's? What happined to standing up for little kids who cannot defend themselves from predaters who feed on these images and stories of perversion?
I know what I am saying is unpopuler. But if popularity is all I lose for trying to take some kind of stand for children then so be it. I do not see how anyone can justify showing these photo's nor can I understand how corperations such as YAHOO! allow or refuse to recanize that this content is operating on there own sites.
I understand that in America we have the freedom of speech and freedom's not found in other countries in the world. I served this nation at one time defending those freedoms. But I have also come to realize that along with those freedoms come's responceability to use them wisely. Where does one person's right to free speach and right to view such meterial stop and the child's rights not to be molested begin? Weather or not these images of children are real or computer manipulated is irregarless of the fact to which they represent. If these type of photo's are shown it can and will cause harm to actual children.
So how can we stop this? Well, let's take your personal life into account for a moment. Do you have a child? A daughter or son? How would you feel if they were to be protrayed on the internet in this way? I know personnaly that if it were my child I would honestly be angered enough to find the person or persons responceable for it and to have them incarcerated. Well, obviously that is not possable because of the vastness of the internet. So instead we should go after those who operate the servers that allow this activity to take place. I beleave they are takeing a blind eye to this activity for the sake of the all mighty doller. I honestly beleave that they can and should moniter what is placed on there servers and therefor should be held responceable for the content there-in. In other words if posseshion is 9 10ths of the law, then who is red handed.
