thus ends our forray in british columbia. as evidence from how it
ended, who do you think it began?
we woke up late, 7.40am, when we decided to get out of the apt by
8am. we ended up leaving at 9, no big deal! so we drove for a while
and pulled over to get gas in some small town...and then we hit the
canadian border after 2hrs. cool!
the line to get in was kinna long and then they asked for basically
your mini-autobiography.

-what do you do for work? (they'll ask mo in-depth questions here if
what you say is 'interesting' enough.)

so whatever, after this barrage of questions we were on our way to
vancouver, to eat fish&chipz (our foist meal of the day, btw) at this
place one of his co-workers suggested. good news, we find the place
without trouble, but it wasn't going to be open for another half hour.
so we spent that in 7-11....where we found out what a "toonie" was...
i think larry got the girl (about 14 or so) in trouble because she
was talking to him/black man...and her mom rushed in, lectured her
in some language and then they disappeared. a toonie is a 2-dollar
coin.....
the restaurant was supposed to open @ noon...(i should still be sleeping)
but they weren't, so we asked the 7-11 attendant about the place and
he said it was still open...so fine....we drove around for a few minutes
and came back there. by now it was almost 1pm..and they were still *closed*!
what the hell...there was no sign saying they were closed..but i think
they ran out of business or something.....*urrrrrrrrz*
so fiiiiiiiine, luckily we got some snacks at the 7-11, so we weren't
SO hungry...and we set on our way to find the next destination: the
metro transit pool. larry's co-worker also gave him a free bus pass.
we had hoped to ride the bus system and see the city ya know?
the transit centRE was on the other side of where we were..so we
spent a good while driving there...but suddenly a building was before
us....and we didn't know where else to go because the map said to
continue going straight......so fine....fuck it! we're going HOME!
and canadians can't drive for SHIT...bus drivers especially....one
was on the side picking up passengers as larry narrowed the distance...
and then the bus just pulls in front of him..brakes slam..honking..
finger..swearing...yelling....*L* we were both pretty shaken up..and
then we notice the bus driver holding this piece of shit sign out the
window at us which said: yield to buses.
now that's all well and good..but that doesn't mean that they can
knock us off the road! and earlier on another bus we read a banner
that said: yield to buses, it's the law starting may 3.
today is may 1, it's NOT may 3!!! so i'm yelling that..and decide to
make the bus driver a sign saying: not may 3!!! i also made a lil'
bus logo and crossed through it. *chuckles* but alas, he went on
another route, so i couldn't flash him MY sign....but it was pretty
funny. :P
well, whatever, i'm pretty exhausted after this bout..and we're on
our way home....so i take a nap....and then at the border, i get
harassed by that idiot at the booth...what do you mean "Who are you?"
i'm your freakin mama!? he was soo damn rude and he didn't make much
sense...i could have answered that question so many ways...he was just
trying to feel the 'big man' cuz he's stuck in this shitty job. *snork*
so yesssss!!!!! we are back in the states!!!! and we go to bellingham
because they have a sharis there..and spend way too much money on
food..hey we're hungry!! and then i drive the rest of the leg.
but we get to exit 200 (we need exit 169) and we slow to a STOP. and
it takes us 1.5hrs to get to exit 199!!!!!!!!!!!!! *RAR* and then!
the 3-lane freeway turns to 2..then 1..and then NONE...they MAKE us
take this exit into everett (small town) and drive there..how? where?
no directions!
so FINE..we drive and eventually see a sign showing us the way..and we
go there..only to find it CLOSED...now i began to feel like this was
some bad movie..that they were trying to KEEP us in this shitty town..
we were NEVER gonna leave!!! *frustrated*
but...we find another on-ramp..which was OPEN...and so we were on our
way again! but what in the hell caused them to close a HUGE chunk of
I-5?!?!? i watched the news and there was NOTHING on it..i'm confused!
so i'm gonna email/complain to WSDOT..cuz i used to verka there. *snork*
we're finally home..i took a nap..larry went out to buy ice creams..
i'm tying this really long update....allan was already home and he
went to bed early..he played at the windemere cup today....i think he
said he had fun...but he got a free shoit.
plans for the rest of the weekend..to sleep more..and to read more.
i have a take-home law midterm this friday....yaaaaaaay!!

i haven't updated since the canada rant..which i hope everyone's read
so far. *EG*
schoo dis veek: well, i missed two psych classes cuz i overslept
and cuz weese said he was skipping..but other than that i was good. :)
psych is boring though..but today there is gonna be a panel..and she
suggested we cross-dress for the occasion. *Hmmmmmz* then there is
accounting and i'm struggling with that cuz i missed all last veek's
lectures, but i want to study and do goo on the midterm which is on
wednesday. *ick* next comes law. we have our take-home midterm, due
on monday, today..that'll be nice. and then there's mythology. i
got my midterm back and i'm glad to say i did NOT get a 1.8. see, if
i get a 1.8 in any exam, that is the sign for failure in that
particular class....it's happened with math124 and with art history 431.
but at least i got a 2.6 in myth, so i'm happy..and i have another
midterm in that class on thursday.
so i'm beeeeeezay!
what else has happened....well, wilson is FINALLY an RA..so i'm glad.
cuz now he can buy me food. ;-) but also..i gotta laugh cuz the dorm
he's assigned to has NO ETHERNET. *bwuahahahah* now he'll know how it
feels. *EG* and he also told us that someone went on a $1400
shopPING spree on HIS tab. *GRRRR @ them* some people are really evil.
i'm going home this weekend cuz it's mother's day weekend and cuz i
need to do some stuffs. but i also need to remember that i should study.
so i'm gonna try and do that too. just so many things to get done, you
know?¿
other than that, i guess....i've been playing some guitar..*L* but i
guess this is goo enough i gotta go! talka latta!!!!!!!

just taking a break to write a little update. things have been busy
here. like on monday, i had to finish my law midterm, which i did
just *barely* and then she let us out of class early, yay!! and then
on tuesday i did lots of accounting and yesterday i had my accounting
midterm--i think we get them back today as well. and then today i will
have my mythology midterm and i'm feeling goo about it cuz it's multi-choice and i'm actually reading/taking notes and it's interesting
stuffs to me...which makes it all stick. but afta that, i'm freeeeeee!
the weekend was uneventful; i ended up not reading/studying as much
as i wanted but it all verked out in the end. i bought a lil' dragon
shoit and that's eet. but my mom's new thing with me is getting me
to wear make-up...i no wanna! i did that for..*thinks*..for 5yrs. but
i stopped cuz i didn't think it made a difference, and i wasn't even
applying it correctly, and it just took too much time. but she went
on and one about it. *eye roll*
oh and i renewed my license when i was home. i didn't think i could pass
the eye exam so i wore my sister's glasses. *L* i passed! got new license
with betta pic. YAY.
yuppers...and late on saturday night jennifer and annie are coming up.
i'm no sure about ben though. *d'aww* and yesterday larry and i went
and bought two really *COOL* chairs, which the nice people are gonna
deliver to us this aftanoon @ 5pm. i wanna!!! that's all we were
thinking about after we left...our chairs. *L*
so to make room for em all, i had to deflate all my inflatables...
*sniffle* and we're getting rid of that free futon we picked up a few
weeks ago cuz it sucks. :P hopefully we can get rid of it..cuz we
*WILL*....sucky futon.

May 14, 1999: so here i am
well, it's just after noon and i'm already on campus. why, do you ask? i had
to go to a counseling appointment at 11.30am, that's why. and i guess it was
informative, though i don't think i feel anymore comfortable with the decisions
i have to make.
my counselor woman was very nice and she said that the business schoo sent out
"lots of letters yesterday and today." and she also said that "if you don't get
a letter that isn't necessarily a bad thing." oaky pine. but yeah, i got a chance
to look at my transcript, which i haven't done before and that was interesting.
i saw all the crap grades i made last year due to staying up too late and not
reading as much as i should have. but she did notice the change i had last
quarter, so hopefully the business schoo noticed that as well and gave me the
benefit of the doubt.
plans for the weekend. well, i emailed to my mailing list giving away my futon.
the big one we picked up a few weeks ago. we just have no use for it and it's
just too damned big. and with our *NEW COOL CHAIRZ* we have no room for it.
i've gotten a few inquiries...and i had said that when i started this, the first
person who came to me would get it--but i haven't heard back from him, so i don't
know what the deal is. and a few people want to "look over" the futon before they
take it away. come on! it's a free futon, just take it already! *L* but yeah, i
hope that it will be gone before the veekend startz..so hopefully sometime
tonight cuz then on saturday or sunday, my dad is gonna move betty's futon here
cuz she's moving out of her apartment...so we were gonna have three futons. *L*
annie and jennifer are coming up this weekend, i'm excited. i don't know what
we would possibly do, but i want some fun because i can finally *relax!!!*
i took my mythology midterm yesterday and that was soooooooo easy. like, he waited
until the LAST hour to give us the exam (out of a 3hr class), so i was jumping
out of my skin. he/it sucks!!!! but it was 46 multi-choice questions and i
finished it in 15mins but went over it a second time, so it's coo!! when i came
home our *COOL CHAIRZ* were home...and i love em. namely, i love MY chair, the
swivel one from the 60s..it's so soft and comfy. *hehe*
but today, i will meet up with W&W and have lunch with them, i want grilled
cheez. :-) there are gonna be two films in psych and then a break and then
law class!
oh! i got my accounting midterm bawk yesterday..103/135, beh-beeeee. i did
3pts butta than i said i wanted, so me hawpy. and two dayz ago, this guy
found me on icq and we've been talka..he's nice, we may have coffee one of these
days. but! we may see each other this weekend cuz on 'the ave' there is going
to be a street fair and he said he was going and we bof know what the other
lookz like so who knowz. :)
but i guess that's all i wanted to say, *I wanna grilled cheez!!!*

well, current news of the moment/year/life: i did not get into the
business school. i found out on saturday..and it just SUCKED because i
got a BIG envelop and everybody knows what a big envelop means...and
allan thought i was in, so he goes: jeanny! you got in! and i was like:
hmmmm...and i tried to read the letter thru the envelop but i didn't
see anything bad..so i ripped into it...to see: DENIED.
and it couldn't have come at a worse time, i mean..w&w were on their
way over so we could see 'the matrix'...(me, al, weese, & walter) but
then i get this bomb..and i start crying..and i'm crying..mo mo mo...
and larry decides to get ready and go with us cuz before he didn't think
he would...which i'm glad he decided to.
the Ws came over and i heard knocking but i started crying again so i
ignored it..and a few minutes later i went composed myself and washed
up, etc..and went into the room, and wilson comes in and says: i heard,
i'm sorry....and i LOSE it again! and that was weird sucky..cuz i just
got cleaned up. *har*
so i cried MORE and then cleaned up AGAIN and we all were ready to go.
i decided to pack a roll of tissue paper in case i would get upset
again. and allan laughed when he saw me tuck it in my pocket. *heh*
we waited years for the bus and then got there..looked in nordy's a bit.
did NOT get serviced by their loitering salesmen in the shoe dept, so
we lefted.
got tix and then larry and i were sucked into some survey for the
new 'south park' movie and it was just needlessly long, if i could do
it MYself, i would have been done in 3mins, it took waaaaaaay longer.
well, we decided to splurge and buy popcorn (with butter!!) and a drink
and damn..it was $10! so i was determined to get my money's worth. *L*
the movie started and it was fine/goo though slow for me cuz i already
saw it and i wanted to see the best scenes NOW. *stomps* and i had to
leave again to go to the bafroom cuz i drank so much soda. *L* but i
made sure to go at a diffy time than i did last time cuz i missed an
important scene!
and aftaverds, we went towards home. walter had to go home-home and allan
had to go and call annie....so weese, lar, and me went to have pho cuz
wilson hadn't gone to this place before..the place with cream puffs!!!
we ated and it was goo...and we talka and wilson said walter got in the
school..which i'm glad to hear..but not from him/walter cuz i would have
gotten upset..still too fresh....
we thought jennifer wasn't coming up so wilson said he was going home
to find something to do but we had the movie 'halfbaked' and he was
interested in seeing it..but he had to go home and see what else was
there and then call and come over.
so we watched some of star wars on tv..and then wilson called to say he
was too lazy to come over and i was like: WEESE! you said you would
come over! and then i went online for a bit and we started 'halfbaked'
and that movie is HILarious!! i was dying it was so funny...and
jen and annie came right towards the end..so there was talka and then
i went online to talka ellen cuz i haven't talked to her in longtemps.
sunday was a lazy day we went to the street fair and it was okay lots of
boofs and expensive things...we had the BEST fried ice cream! lar
and i lost the others but we found em again and so i went back out there
and we had strawberry shortcake. and then we went to pick al up from
practice and then hung out til they left @ 9pm.
monday..i think i got sick cuz i slept with the window open..and i also
had registration @ 6am, i couldn't get back to sleep until 8am..and i
overslept and missed my accounting class...and allan decided to skip
the WHOLE DAY....i wanted to soo bad but i made myself leave the apt.
i went to psych but NO weese. and i went to the meeting place and NO
walter! but then i go to the puter lab and they're bof there. *L*
law was horrible..we're getting our exams back on friday. and when i
got home..it was just a lot of hanging out with larry and allan..i
didn't do any studying. :P
so far, nothing going on today i'm just waiting for 1pm and then i'm
off for class! i need to study my psych stuffs. there's accounting
homeverk due today but i'm not gonna worry about it..cuz hey,
who cares about business?¿ *smirk*

kay, well i'm dead tired because larry and i went to see 'star varz'
at 3 in the mornin. and it was okay, i'm not sure if it was worth
my getting up and losing sleep over..but it was a fun atmosphere. *L*
too many damn previews though. [new leo movie, new jodi movie, tarzan,
13th flo......] *grrrrrrr* but one of em was for the
new 'austin powers' movie..and we like that, so *woo hoo*.
and, you know how you go to a movie during the day and when you come
out it's night? well, this time it was the opposite..we went during
night and it was day when we left...i find that amusing. *L*
i almost missed my accounting class...but i got there only 10mins late.
*whew* alla thought i would miss it..haaaaaaa, he was wrong! :P~ but
i obviously didn't get much out of lecture. so then i went to talka the
business school about my letter, but signups for that were for next veek,
so i gotta wait that long. *RAR*
aftaverdz, i caught up with walter and we sat..and then it was time for
lunch with wilson..who didn't show for a long time cuz he, too, went
to a 3am showing of 'the movie' and just woke up....slackass!!!
*L* he said he needed to finish his RA project, so he was gonna skip
psych...so so was i. *heh*
wented home..supposedly to study..but i fell asleep in mah chair...woke
up when allan came home from 'the movie' and then i fell asleep on
the flo...and then bennetts called...somehow i had a convo with him,
and slept MO...and then larry ate cereal near my head and i still slept.
:P i was tired.
dawsons was nothing to go "OOH" over but i still watched it. i said i
would go back to sleep afta it, but of horse i didn't. we played kart
and then i went to study for an hour or so for my psych exam. boring
stuffs, eh?
and i realized that it's one more month til mah birfday! i'm gonna
be OLD.
May 21, 1999
today is friday and it's not even 7.30am. i had a coughing fit so i
decided to get up. today is also the day of the psych exam. i dunno
if i feel totally prepared for it..considering..the amount i read of
the text and its articles...to the amount of lecture notes we went
through. *shrugs* speaking of exams, i got my mythology exam score:
3.5 baby!!! it could have been higher but this is *great* because i
just started studying on tuesday (for the exam, which was on thursday).
i wonder if there is another opportunity for extra points in that
class cuz the first exam score was so low......
did i tell you guys about my registration on monday? i think so...not
sure. but i'm still waiting for an add code by one of the professors..
still! GRRRRRRRRRRRR.
i went to that 'choosing a major' workshop yesterday at noon:30 and i
thought it was needlessly long. then weese and i skipped psych cuz
it took them too damn long to start the movie and when they did, the
movie sucked..so we went to sit in a puter lab together. *EG* then
i went to accounting and it was okay cuz i did the homework. then i
went and read myth for an hour before class and took some notes so i
was a badass when class began. *bwahahahah*
so today is friday, got the exam..and then in law we are going over
our midterms. nelson is coming up today because he has an exam as well!
and larry and i will find something FUN to do tonight..and then i
will BE online to talka ELLEN. *stomps* then i go see 'the movie' at
7am on saturday..and then i go home!!! so i guess that's all..talka

May 27, 1999: you don't need to see star varz
i don't remember much of the rest of last friday, but ellen and i
did stay up to talka til about 3am and i went to bed for 3owa cuz
we were gonna wake up and go see star varz @ 7am!! and well, lar didn't
have his alarm turned on for some reason, but i miraculously woke up
at6.20am and we scrambled to get ready. i wonder if allan or nelson
would have noticed and got us up or something. *shrugs*
so bennetts came back and we lefted..and there were so many [band]
dorkz i could not believe. *L* and well, the 2nd time thru dis
movie SUCKED. and the audience wasn't very cool..i mean, i'm not a
die-hard fan..but i DID cheer when they introduced R2D2 and C3PO..
but not a one in the audience did anything...*shrugz* and when
jar jar binkz appeared..i boo'ed..*LOL@ME* but the audience seemed
to LIKE him. *shock*
yup..my second experience wif star varz sucked and i'm not gonna see
it again..even if it's at the cinerama with wilson and allan. (the
cinerama is supposedly the best theatre in the nation.)
the boys went home to olympia and i had to wait on my sister..and we
fell asleep waiting. she finally comes and we go home and get there at
2pm?¿ anyhow..i did laundry and watched 'the cutting edge.' and then
fell asleep (after 3owa sleepa i should!) the rents and betty annoyed/
tried to wake me cuz i said i would go shopPING @ 5pm..but i slept
thru them all. *L*
the rents went to do their own thing and so did betty and i was
awfully bored....i spent saturday just laying around pretty much.
sunday we got ready and left..i went to get some cheap sandals and then
home...just hung out.
on monday i went to class...except for psych..me and the W's sat in
the quad and it was really nice. walter and i then had law class,
where she gave us back our exams..and i SUCK.
tuesday i went to all my classes and then i decided to email the
movie guy about getting passes to see 'american pie'...and he said
coo!! so lar and i went and i felt all special cuz i walked straight
up to the front of the line and then just went in....and i was on a
LIST and everything. *LOL@that*
*OMGGGGGGGGGGG* you guyz..the movie is HILarious..you NEED to see it!!
*ROTFL* but i didn't realize that it won't be released until JULY 9..
wowie..and i saw it this early..man..*holding sidez* it was soooooo
funny.
i caught some of the season finale of felicity and she is pretty stupid.
and then i guess they didn't show the finale of buffy cuz there was
a HS schoo shooting so they did it out of respect for columbine or
whatever. i think it's stupid...cuz when are they gonna show it again?
are they just gonna NOT show it ever?¿ whatever.
yesterday was wednesday and i had that talka with the bus. schoo..
and it sucked..there is no hope ever..so i'll just give up now.
had lunch with michelle and it was COO..i haven't seen/talked to her
in like, 2 months i think...it was coo cuz we almost had 'everyone'
at lunch...only bennetts was missing..but yeah..meesh and i talka
longtemps and lots of changes and stuffs...we're hoping to get together
a few more times before summer comes. *nod*
today is thursday and i don't know what's going on so far. al is going
home this veekend cuz it's a long one. betty is moving into her new
apt and i'm getting her futon..i wonder if i'll have to help her move
and stuff...um...yeah..so weese and i are skipping psych (i suck THERE
too) and i'm gonna go to accounting section and then part of
myth..walter and i are discussing the accounting take-home quiz..
which is way too hard for just 10 measly points. *GRRR*
but i guess that's it...just letting you know that: 1) i hate
star varz, 2) i hate business school, and 3) i suck. :P~
