Friends In Real Life
My Real Life Friends...
I've found that, being in college, your friends become your second family.
And, in the ol' scheme of things, I still treat them terribly! *laughs*
Just kidding!
Old School
- Anne Marie: One o' my bestest friends...though she's stuck in
Olympia attending community college. I've known her just over a year, but
it seems like she's been there forever. Her goal in life is to
be married to a rich, handsome man and work as a lounge singer. *smiles*
Some stuff has happened, and we don't talk much, but we're still friends,
and I'm very thankful for that. *hugs*
-
Michelle: "Rock on Bruthas n Sistas!" *smiles* She's my
roommate at UW. She comes from Oak Harbor, it must be a small town,
because she thinks Olympia is a "big" city! Anyhoo, we get along gReat;
we even finish each other's sentences occasionally and have made up our
own language...beware, if you're ever in a conversation with us--we don't
make any sense! I got her hooked on chats, and she's been chatting since Winter
Break. It's good and bad and we have had some difficulties, but I think
she will be otay. *thumbs up*
- Rebekah: The nicest gal you could ever meet. She's the most
considerate, thoughtful person I know. I've never seen this gal in a bad
mood, either! *laughs* She spent a quarter out on her own and, well, that
wasn't her cup o' tea, so she's going back to Olympia. So I can see her
whenever I go home! YAY!!
- Kate: *flex* Kate (aka Pat Ferman) goes to Central University of
Washington...on the OTHER side of this state. She plays the oboe SUPER
well! I got to know her when we went through our traditional "Friday
night's at the Target" phase. *grins* She and Anne Marie put together
make up a CrAzY combination! Now that some time's passed, she and I have gotten
to be better friends, mostly because we complained about how awful
college was. Now we know better. *hehe* We both have our internet mens and
college has changed us, but we're quite alike, I think. *smiles*
-
Allan: "Your Mom!" He's also known to us as "Helen" or "Barbie." An
awesome trumpet player, he's in our own Husky Marching Band. For a while,
he had a swelled head *chuckles* but I think he's over that now. AND,
he is no longer married to Michelle (see the guestbook) for he is
happily in a relationship with Anne Marie!! *big grin* Even though he owes
me about a bazillion favors, I don't really mind cuz, well...I'm not
exactly sure. *laughs* We fight a lot..but we always make up for one reason
or another.
-
Bennetts: (Or Brian, if you will) Absolutely one of THE
most MOODIEST boys I know! He can be nice and often says the
funniest things. A good sport all around, he wasn't phazed when
he dropped his food tray at McMahon Hall. *laughs* I have him to
thank for my ETHERNET card...how else was I supposed to be able to
chat 24/7 and have phone calls come through? At the beginning of the winter
quarter, we were blessed with "The Kinder, Gentler Brian." He's the best.
- Nelson: Okay, Nelson! Here's your lil' bit on my page...He's
been pissed at me for leaving the Bastard male friend line on here.
*laughs* Um, so what do you want me to say about you Nelson?! Well...
okay, he's really nice and really quiet. Ahhhh...he's in a band too, I
think. *laughs* NELSON! You get here and tell me what you want me to
say about you!!!
- Jennifer: Heya, Jenn. Sorry for leaving you off this page for so
long. But it's nothing personal, really! You're a true friend..hey, who else
would abandon our friends at Jerry's Porn Shop (not including me, of course)?
*LOL* We ought to get together a weekend or something cuz I think I forgot
what you look like, girl. Haw. BTW, me needs a piccy of you to scan onto me
page. Otay? Let me know. I know Helen has a Sadies pic of you and your b/f
is that suitable? :-)
-
Danny: *sings* Danny Boy!!! You have the WIDEST range of vocal
chords of anyone I know! *siren* I'm glad you're in "the circle" because
you're the one with NYB!!! Fix NYB so we can take him out for a Sunday
Drive again!! And, next time you meet Gary Locke, get an autograph pour
MOI, okay?
-
TK: HE's the measuring stick of coolness.
Josta rules and he has the best hair-do of all. It's kinda weird...I got to know
TK by getting his email off one of Brian's forwards. We got to know each other
pretty well, and it's just weird because I just met him once, for five
minutes and I know lots about him and him about me? Strange, eh? One of these
days, when Brian isn't going to be selfish, I'll actually be able to meet TK
and have a talk with him. Haw!
- Nick: (Bastard male friend who owes me $13) Nick's title of male bastard is temporarily put on hold by
default for something he did for me over the weekend. The debt has been
suspended as well...what a lucky bastard. *LOL*
-
Wilson: I met Wilson this year at UW. We had that awful Math124
class together. We were just acquaintances then. But then in
winter quarter, we got another class together and began to talk more. This
quarter we have a class together yet again and we're planning on having more
in the future. He's full of aspirations..*thinks of The List* Heehee! Wilson,
I'll help you with that list. Well, some of it. *winks*
- Susan: I found Susan at the Math Center here. I went to grade school
with her so it was a great surprise! As memory serves, I don't think we had
a class together, but her mother teaches Grade Four there and we all knew her
mom. :-) It took us about a quarter to finally get together to do something.
We had much fun that night, definite things to remember. *LOL*
- Mary Colleen: There is truly only one of these in the world. Thank
goodness for that. I doubt the world is ready for more than one. *hehe* She's
the most original character I know. I can't really say much about her without
retelling some stories...but I can't tell these stories because I would be
arrested. *LOL* Just teasing...or am I? WOOOOOOOO. ;-)
An Honorable Mention
I'm just going to say that Larry belongs on this page with my "IRL" friends.
He's just as real to me as my friends are and then some...
