The html document getarkin.htm can launch any of the Get Arkin missions if Battlezone is installed in C:\Program Files\Activision\Battlezone (or otherwise the links in the getarlnk directory would have to be modified to reflect the correct battlezone directory).

Your web browser must be configured so that the option to run a program will be presented when clicking on a link to a non-html file (Internet Explorer 4.0 is configured this way by default, and most others should be as well). When you click on the "Launch Get Arkin ..." link, just select "Run this program from its current location" to launch the mission. If you choose the other option (save as a download), you will simply be saving a shortcut which can launch that mission.

There may be better ways to launch from an HTML document, but I am quite HTML illiterate, so I hope this approach is satisfactory.

You can create a shortcut on your desktop or in the Start menu for easy access to the getarkin.htm document.

All files should be extracted to the addon directory (not dragged).

There is a batch file (getarDEL.BAT) for deleting all files of the Get Arkin Mission Pack. This batch file will present an alert and an option to abort before deleting any files.

I have quadruple checked that no problems occur with any files in this mission pack on my machine, and I guarantee that there are no intentionally malicious files. However, I shall not be held accountable for any problems you encounter (although I'm always willing to help remedy any bugs). If you don't agree to this, please do not install the mission pack.

Some of these maps are slightly different from the previous single missions. The changes should not significantly affect the missions (unless you play #5 on "Easy"):

getarkn2: Leveled the terrain a little so the "custom" enemy recycler can deploy in the end.

getarkn4: Made the stealth turrets in the beginning just a little harder to deal with.

getarkn5: If your recycler survives (you must have difficulty set to "Easy"), it will be out of comission for awhile due to "heavy internal damage".

getarkn6: Made the enemy base a little more "ravebomber-proof" by modifying the terrain (few will notice). Moved NSDF gun towers a little farther away from speedy repair hangers at NSDF base, so that the NSDF factory would get first repairs.
