Visions of Rare and Strange Things
The name for a collection of artistic projects, including digitally manipulated images, sculpture and flat art.
Focused on opening the shutters of the mind to the places where those shutters would by instinct slam closed... and recording what is drawn into the lens.
Captured Images provides some of the design elements and occasional prototypes for Courage Designs.

Courage Designs
Clothing and Accoutrements- design for profound wearables and useful objects, touching on Gothic, Fetish, Ritual, Resonant and Imaginative threads.
"Useful Art," from clothing design to ritual and erotic implements, presented to accompany the rituals and explorations of living close to the passions.

Pavor Noctus
A collective exploration of things of dark beauty and compelling mystery.
Pavor Noctus- "Night Terrors- " explores the concept of the Wunderkammer- the Cabinet of Wonders that was the Victorian precursor to the Museum. Typological rather than chronological in its organization, ancient coins rubbed elbows with African fetishes, restored armor, and faux mummified mermaids... The collection taught not the history of things as they were, but teased at the imagination, and the sense of the Mystery living beyond the horizon of the Known.
Pavor Noctus exhumes and creates artifacts that serve as reminders of this mystery, and perhaps as clues or keys to those who venture beyond the safe ports of modern certainty.

storyteller- in all ways, this is the center.

My vision as an artist and as a person is constantly inspired by the power of the imagination itself- here, we create fancies that take us away from life, for good or ill; here, we see a new way to do things that fulfills us as never before, or a terror we had not yet imagined possible; here, we see the moment, made 'real' or 'unreal,' beautiful or ugly, significant or senseless, all based in the power, and nature, of imagination. How we make sense of what we see, and how we can act to change it, or adapt to accept.

The court sat in unprecedented still
Enchanted, as they were, by Yeats' Art
They tried to tell the Mystery from skill
While exaltations rose, and flew apart

From Azoth, woven by the poet's hand
A miracle parade, a Fairie ride
Did trumpeting impress the gathered stand
Till past the gates, an army stood inside

All quiet now, a hush faced to a mute
Contemplation shone to the complacent
And terror found all dignities' refute
Revealing how fine words have fire nascent

From crucible to roots of speech and manner
In emphasis, a parastatic action
"Solve et Coagula" becomes a banner
A war respecting neither blood nor faction
