Cleanup Days

• The Cleanup activities will be accomplished once in a month.

• It has been unanimously agreed to have the first Saturday of every month as the Cleanup Day.

• Timing: 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. (After the Gita Class)

• Initially the cleanup activity covers mainly the inside of both Sri Balaji and Sri Shiva Complex.

• Priorities of activities depend on the number of volunteers present on that day.

• Naresh informed that he could arrange a group of 10-20 of students from Wollongong University to assist us in the cleanup activities.

• Shalini and Srini will be coordinating the cleanup activities. They will be submitting a plan/proposal of list of activities to be done on the cleanup day.

• A new web site (https://www.angelfire.com/vts/svtyouthgroup/index.html) has been already launched by the SVT Youth Group as an interim arrangement.

• Upgrading the old web site with the recent Internet surfing tools  (http://www.acay.com.au/~svt) is under proposal and to be finalized by the ‘SVT Executive Members Committee Meeting’ on 11/05/2002.

• Monthly Newsletter will be designed, edited and circulated by Naresh to all members of SVT Youth Group.

• Any suggestion to improve the design and contents of this Newsletter are always welcome. Please pass it on your suggestions to Naresh through svtyouthgroup@hotmail.com.

• Proposal is underway to have a Glass House for flower garden in the area behind the canteen.

• Cost estimation and approval of fund to be finalized by the ‘SVT Executive Members Committee’.

• The SVT Executive Members Committee made a formal request to SVT Youth Group to come up with a ‘Feasibility’ Study.

• If anybody knows any person who is having the appropriate skills set to provide the cost estimation & technical tips, they can ask that person to contact either Rajesh / Naresh.

• It has been unanimously agreed to have the suggestion Box than a Suggestion Book, in order to maintain the privacy of the commentator.

• The SVT Youth Group is responsible for responding back those commentators with the explanation about the ability / inability to implement their suggestions into reality.
