'Face of Innocence'

This little lamb was one of the first pictures I ever took in Holy Land.
Bryan and I entered and bared left,
and laying in the snow was this little,
slightly mashed lamb.
It was quite the scene,
this tiny statue which in the past was also used to mark children's graves,
frozen,
surrounded by the waist-high,
smashed in buildings of Bethlehem.
I pitied it,
brushed off the snow,
and took it's portrait.
