16th Century maille smith

In the autumn, I take my maille on the road to various Craft Shows throughout the area.  Quite often, a young person will be working with their parent/grandparent and is up wandering around the show checking out the other tables.  For some reason,  they think that chainmaille is, like, the coolest thing ever! (which, of course, it is) and seem to be more than willing to be free advertising for me (and my table) by walking around all day, wearing a piece or two.  As you can imagine, this usually generates a large number of people; patrons of the shows as well as other crafters, to my little 8-feet wide area.  Jodie, the young lady here, is the grand-daughter of a couple of crafters at my last show this season.  She rides in horse shows and had purchased my 6-in-1 cameo choker the day before these pictures were taken.  She tried on the Joan d'Arc tank-top to find that she was the perfect size and body-shape to wear this particular piece.  Even my wife said that she thought it looked fabulous on her.  Later on, she came back wanting to know if she could wear a headpiece.  Within about an hour, she had single-handedly brought about 30 people to my little area!  Amazing what can happen with the right model working for you.
