Backstreet Bar recently underwent a resurrection of sorts.  After 30+ years as a fixture in Downtown
St. Albans, the "biker" bar was bought and changed its "format".  Well, finally, Lisa Gett Johnson, the heroine of our story, purchased the now bar and on Saturday, May 18th, 2002, she reopened the doors with the Back To Backstreet Bash.  The regular patrons were happy to see Backstreet return to its roots as a biker/construction bar .   Now of course, what is a biker bar without chainmaille, and what woman's wardrobe would be complete on a Saturday night without it as well?
