Broken By My Heart's Mistake

As long as I've been waiting,

I've found myself sedating,

All this hate. It's you I'm hating.

All my love is surely fading,

And my heart is now decaying.

"The dream is over," I keep saying.

My pain is only escalating,

And it grows with my anticipating.

My life is so lonely without you.

Us as one, now me and you as two,

But your lies were never really true.

Your eyes have turned to grey from blue.

Now the only thing that I care to do,

Is sit alone in this empty, black room.

My thoughts of you,

Are an eerie light with a blood-red hue.

"I love the way you touch me," you so softly said.

Memories burst through the aching pain in my head.

It's so excruciating, think these thoughts,

I might as well be dead.

I fear I'm ensnared in the trap called love.

This will never end.
