The greatest decision you'll ever make... |
| Thank
you so much for visiting this very important page. I am always
excited to hear about someone getting saved. But even more than
that, the Bible says that the angels rejoice in heaven over one person
coming to Jesus. Just imagine the excitement over thousands!
First of all, you need to know that Christianity is a relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Son of God. He was born to a virgin, grew up, began a ministry, died for all mankind, and rose again on the third day so that they could have eternal life and live in heaven with Him for eternity. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life." This scripture just says that God loves us with so much love, that He was willing to let His own Son die, so that millions could live. Can you imagine what God must have felt like, sending His only Son to die? But He was willing because He knew that through Jesus' death, millions would gain salvation. God's will is that none should perish, but He gave you a free will, so you have to make the decision. No one can force you to do it. I said before that Jesus died for all mankind. That's true, but here's something better: if you were the only person on earth who ever committed a sin, Jesus would have died on the cross just for you. That's how much He loves you. Jesus wants to become the Lord of your life, and have a personal relationship with you. Is this what you want? All you have to do is ask Jesus to come into your heart and be the Lord of your life. Ask Him to forgive your sins. The Bible says nothing about being sorry. When it talks of salvation, it only mentions forgiveness and confession of sins. The word sorry does not exist in the Bible. To receive salvation you must repent of your sins. To repent is to take a 180 degree turn and go in the other direction. It is through forgiveness for our sins that we can have eternal life with Jesus in heaven. All He wants is to know you personally and have a relationship with you. That is the reason you were created. If you have read this and want to pray a prayer, just pray to God what I wrote in the above paragraph, and then please e-mail me. I would like to know that I have a new brother or sister in Christ. If you are not ready to do this, please just think about it. That's all I ask. Thank you so much for taking the time to read these words of mine. |
