Summary: It’s based on the things I’ve heard on Teaching Mrs. Tingle except with the DC cast in it.
Author’s Note: Any thoughts, comments, suggestions, e-mail me. Um, this takes place in their senior year. Andie and Joey are best friends, they are sorta friends with Pacey. Joey’s arch enemies are Jen and Mr. Peterson. Dawson and Jack, might be in it later but I’m not sure.
Disclaimer: I do not own Dawson’s Creek or Teaching Mrs. Tingle. Also, I heard the pinnichio remark in a revue for Teaching Mrs. Tingle.
Joey Potter stood in front of her mirror with index cards in her hands. She cleared her throat.
“Welcome peers, parents, teachers, and members of the faculty. I made valedictorian by working hard, and if you work at least half of that, you should make it through life-”
Joey sighed and crossed off some lines. Then she sat down on her bed and started her homework.

Andie McPhee drove her car. Her destination: Capeside High School. She looked at her friend, Joey, who was scribbling on index cards.
“Joey, come on, you don’t even know if your valedictorian yet,” Andie told her friend.
“My only competition is Jen Lindley. Besides, Principal Markey said that I’m a shoe-in for it as long as I get at least an “A” in Mr. Peterson’s English class. Also, with out being valedictorian, I can’t get the scholarship and I won’t be able top afford to go to Princeton,” Joey informed her.
“An “A” in Peterson’s class? I don’t think so. Besides, if Jen had her nose up Peterson’s butt anymore she’d be Pinnichio,” Andie reminded Joey with a smile.
Joey smiled and shook her head at the remark. Although, nothing could be closer to the truth. Jen Lindley was the biggest suck-up at Capeside High and every student knew it, and hated her. Mr. Peterson ate it up like a child with it’s favorite candy.
“Okay, I’ll let up with my obsession with being valedictorian for a little while. Besides, this afternoon we got to work on yearbook with Pacey Witter,” Joey reminded her friend. Pacey Witter, the biggest slacker in school.
“A couple hours with Pacey, I don’t have any complaints. Although, it’d be better if we were alone,” Andie told Joey. Andie had a crush on Pacey.
Joey rolled her eyes at the remark. Pacey was hot, even she had to admit, but he was no reason to gush so much.

Pacey, Joey, and Andie were sprawled out on the mat in the gym, looking at pictures. At least, Joey was. Andie was, a little bit but she kept sneaking looks at Pacey. And Pacey helped out every now and then but he was concentrating on Joey.
Andie started talking and in the middle of her conversation she told Pacey how Joey needed at least an “A” in Peterson’s class to be valedictorian and to get the scholarship.
Pacey rummaged through his school bag until he pulled out a couple of pieces of paper that were stapled together.
“I could sell you this,” Pacey waved the paper in front of them.
“What is it?” Andie asked him.
“Peterson’s finial exam,” Pacey informed them.
Joey snatched the paper from him.
“Are you insane? You stole papers from Peterson?” Joey asked.
“I didn’t steal them okay? I found them,” Pacey corrected her.
“Where did you find them? The folder on his desk?” Joey asked him.
“No, by the yearbook stuff in the library,” Pacey defended him self.
“W-we have to return it,” Joey said.
“What is this?” A sharp, authoritative voice said from behind them.
The three teenagers turned around and saw Mr. Peterson standing there. Looking authoritative with his perfect posture, white and gray swirled hair, rectangle shaped glasses and tweed vest. He bent over and snatched the paper from Joey’s hand and skimmed it over.
“Look what we have here, the smartest girl in school caught cheating. Wait until Principal Markey hears about this,” Mr. Peterson said and turned around and headed towards the office.
Pacey, Joey, and Andie jumped up, and grabbed their bags and followed Mr. Peterson.

Jen Lindley watched this from behind a row of lockers. She smiled, her plan was working perfectly. Joey Potter, was not going to be valedictorian and get that scholarship. She turned around and headed towards the door.
