Summary: It’s the first day of filming. Katie’s feeling left out. Also, new cast members to meet. And a flashback stirs up some feelings.

Author’s Note: I don’t know anything about the actors/actresses personal lives, just the rumors I’ve heard. The actor’s lives are completely there own and should not be held up for public scruinty, this is just a ‘What if’ story. None of this, actually happened on real life. Spoilers: There should be a lot on the show, during scenes where the actor’s films. These are scenes I have heard of from extras, spoilers, and from friends. Some of them may not be true, some of them will be.

“Great job Nick,” She told Nickalus Lange.

“You too,” He said.

She went back to her trailer to get changed, seeing as the filming day was over, finally. She grabbed some of her own clothes and put them on. When she was done, she went over to her car, she could see Josh talking to the new cast member, Brittany Daniels, she felt a twinge of jealousy pull at her but she pushed it aside, her and Josh were over with and she had been the one to push him away. She unlocked her car door and was about to get in.

“Katie,” She heard a voice say. She turned around and saw Brittany Daniels standing there, still dressed in, what Katie hoped was character clothes, a red bikini top and shorts.

“Hi,” She replied.

“I’m Brittany. Things are so hectic around here, I haven’t had a chance to introduce myself,” Brittany introduced herself.

Katie forced a smile, “Hey, nice to meet you.”

“Isn’t Josh cute, wouldn’t mind having him over night,” Brittany commented.

Katie opened her mouth in protest but quickly shut it, it wasn’t her battle to fight anymore.

“Whatever you say,” She replied instead.

“Best thing about a guy like that, it’d be a no-strings thing, he doesn’t seem like the commitment type,” Brittany told her.

“Whatever you say,” Katie repeated, tight jawed.

“I’ll see you then,” Brittany said.

Katie turned around and got into her car.

Josh entered his apartment and was relieved that there were no messages. He was too flat out tired to do anything but collapse on his bed and sleep. His mind drifted back to the other day, maybe they had all been a little harsh on Katie. Assuming the things they did, he’d have to apologize to her tomorrow. He had seen her and Brittany talking before, he wondered what they were talking about. Whatever it was didn’t seem to please, he hadn’t seen her so tight jawed since well,

Third Day of Filming Modern Romance(aka Double Date) “I can’t believe you pushed me into the water,” Katie said, trying her best to stand up in the water.

“Here,” Josh extended his hand to help her up, instead she pulled him down with her.

She pushed herself up and waddled out of the water to the big warm blanket waiting for her on the shore.

“It’s not that bad,” Josh called out to her, as he got up and went to the blanket waiting for him.

“It’s November Joshua,” She said to him, sipping coffee.

“A pretty warm day for November,” He replied.

“It’s forty degrees out,” Katie argued back.

“You can get changed back into your own clothes now,” The director’s voice broke through their argument.

Katie and Josh walked into the mobile trailer, that had come over for this shoot. Katie went in one room and Josh in another.

He had found her outside in jeans, a sweater and a winter jacket. He tried to put his arms around her but she moved away.

“Aww, come on Kate, it was a little joke,” Josh said, then gave her a puppy dog look.

She set her jaw tight and looked at him.

“You’re gonna give me pneumonia,” She told him.

“You’re not, and if you do I’ll, uh, play nurse, truce?” He asked.

Katie seemed to think a minute and extended her hand.

“Truce.”

Josh took her hand and moved her closer to him, he wrapped his arms around her and she lifted her chin and---- He heard a beeping noise? He sat up and saw that his alarm clock was going off. He also saw that he had fallen asleep on the couch last night. He shook his head, it was weird thinking back to when he was dating Katie, he hadn’t thought about those times in a long time.

He stood up and headed towards the shower.
