Behind the scenes It was a warm day for April,considering the hurricanes that had been going around recently,Katie thought as she drove her car into the sets carpark.
She got out her car and felt the humidness in the air "earthquake weather" she muttered under her breath,oh well another day of work,not that she didn't like playing Joey,hell she'd love to be like her,strong,witty but today was supposed to be there first day off in 3 months,but Kevin had called her,and she never could say no to him.
Katie was walking toward her trailer,deep in thought not noticing the appreciative glances she was getting from all the male crew,they all thought she was beautiful,but she never noticed,she thought they were only calling her beautiful because of the fame thing.
She reached her trailer,and had a quick chat with the security guard,they'd formed a strong friendship when he'd caught a stalker trying to get into her trailer,she shuddered remembering the day,she'd been so scared but Josh had been there to comfort her,He'd reassured her,told her everything would be fine and stayed with her that night because she'd been to scared to sleep on her own,he just held her in his arms and they both fell asleep,it was at that point they became really close to each other,they were closer to each other than they were with Michelle and James,they all lived together and got on well,her and Michelle were close she'd been the first person Michelle told about her relationship with James and it was the same with Josh and James,unfortunately because she was close to James herself the press had thought they were going out but Michelle knew they were just rumours.
Katie sat down,she remembered she was going shopping with James tomorrow to find a gift for Michelle it was there 6 month anniversary,she smiled remembering Michelle trying to grill her for information on what he was getting her,she'd said she didn't know and thought she'd been let off the hook,but then Michelle brought up Josh,she was so sure me and Josh would make a great couple,but I mean what would a great,sexy guy like him see in me,and anyway we were best friends that was it,we were a bit like our characters always arguing jokingly.
"Stop it Katie,stop thinking about him,"she couldn't he was always in her mind.
She got up and went to her ''Joey'' clothes,she was boiling hot "Wardrobe won't mind me borrowing some clothes"she decided
She was taking her jumper off and was just in her bra when Josh walked in,he didn't notice at first.
"Hey ice queen do you....." he stopped short when he saw her,she was half naked,she grabbed a jumper to cover he bra and he could see her blushing,she is so beautiful and could very easily be mistaken for a goddess and the best bit was that she didn't even realise it,that most of the men were in love with her and the women who were usually jealous couldn't help but love her she was so sweet and down to earth, At this point he realised he'd been staring "God Josh,don't you ever knock?"she yelled at him
"Relax I'm not seeing a part of you that other people haven't,correct me if I'm wrong but didn't half the world see you offer yourself in your bra to James?"
He knew he'd hit a nerve when he said that,but it was worth it, seeing her get angry her eyes would get fiery and sparkle in the most hypnotic way,she was so beautiful,she mesmerised him he couldn't look away,he remembered the day the writers told her she would have to do it,she'd said no but then Kevin told her it was needed so she did it.
"Josh,get out before I scream rape!!!"she bit out at him,she was so angry at him "ok,ok I'm shifting"he said and then closed the door. She couldn't believe him,just coming in like that,and then staring at her with that intense look in his eyes,she was so embarrassed,she always felt that sexual atmosphere that was created when ever he was around her,it made her feel inexperienced,sure she wasn't a virgin but near enough,she'd been going out with Grant for a year in high school and in her senior year he'd convinced her to sleep with him,she'd thought he loved her but only went out with her for that reason,and anyway it wasn't very good,she'd slept with him a few times and in that time he'd always make her feel that it was her fault that sex wasn't good with her,so after finding him with another girl and dumping him,he went round telling everyone what she was like in bed and how bad she was ,so after that any boyfriend she'd had she'd felt to embarrassed to sleep with incase he said she was bad too,and they all left,so they were all after one thing to get her into bed with them, so with Josh she knew from gossip that he'd had lot's of experience and that he was a great lover in bed.
She'd often woken up in the middle of the night,sweating and wanting him,her dreams weren't any better,he made he feel things she never had before,so she knew he wouldn't be interested in her he went for girls like Brittany who was oozing sex appeal, But why should she care?It was only Josh,who cares that he is so considerate,sweet and had that million dollar smile that made her weak at her knees and those beautiful blue eyes that you could get lost in,Shit she was doing what she told herself not to "stop thinking about him"she yelled at herself,she quickly got dressed and ran out of her trailer,one look at her watch and she relised she was late for her meeting with Kevin
Wait a sec,she'd only seen Josh here today,she hoped everything was fine. By the time she reached his office,she was out of breath,and realised one of her earrings had fallen out so she took the other one of too.
She was about to open the door when she saw Josh,,sitting with his back to her,reading a magazine,suddenly a mischievous idea occurred to her.
Josh couldn't see her but felt her presence,he knew it was her,he could drown in her sweet smelling fragrance,she creeped up behind him and put her hands over his eyes and leaned close into him and whispered in his ear "Guess who?"
Just her doing that was conjuring up images that kept him up half the night,but he pushed them to the back of he's mind he knew she wasn't interested in him,he thought back to a conversation him and James had,James had kept telling him,ask her out,but he'd said no ,she wasn't interested,it seems him and Michelle were always talking how much they should go out but why should a sweet goddess like her go out with him,and anyway there were rumours going around that she was going out with Chris Klein***he thought jealously anyway back to the future he'd play along with her,if it would keep her soft hands over his eyes and her strawberry smelling hair tantalisingly playing havoc with his senses by falling over the side of his face.
"Umm Tasha?"
"Uh uh"
"Brittany?"
Figures he would say her name she thought jealously,and with that she did something she never done before or even thought of doing"Last chance"she whispered
Josh felt the sexual tension in the room increase at that point and whispered"Or what?" things were getting heated in the room he couldn't believe what she was doing,she licked a trail down his ear and sucked his earlobe,it was the most arousing feeling he'd ever gotten from something as simple yet erotic thing she was doing,he knew why it was because she was doing it,he was about to grab her when the office door opened,she pulled away quickly,Kevin called them into his office,before they went in Josh whispered in her ear "later" and walked in.
Katie couldn't believe what she'd just did, Damn it she thought,he brought out the worst in her
She knew he wasn't going to let her forget it,right now she had something else to worry about,what this meeting was about with just her and Josh. They sat down in his office which was cluttered with memorabilia from loads of different films and he had lots of gadgets,his office was fascinating.
"Hey guys,thanks for showing up on your day off,really appreciate it,but it was the only day I was free." Kevin said
"No problem Kev,any day spent with the Ice queen is a chilly pleasure"Josh joked and ruffled her hair,Ice queen was Josh's nickname for her,Kevin had heard them arguing with each the and heard Katie call him jailbait,and josh call her ice queen so he'd thought they were perfect nicknames for pacey and Joey to call each other.
"Stop it Jailbait"
"Josh only you would get away with calling me Kev"Kevin remarked laughingly,he got on well with them all but he liked Josh the best.
"Anyway guys,your more like your characters than you think,just called you in to tell you that the Joey/Pacey thing is going ahead,the public want it,and everybody's noticed the sexual tension between you two"
"What sexual tension?"Katie asked
"I warned you Ice queen,to keep the attraction you feel for me away from work,i know you find me totally irresistible, hey.."he said when she threw a cushion at him
"You'd be perfect for space,you'd got a head full of it"she threw at him,but he just laughed
Kevin was just standing there watching them,and thought with a smile,the chemistry between those two could fuse a nuclear bomb,its just a matter of time.
"Anyway the story is that Dawson tells you about Eve being Jen's half sister and how he'd gotten a postcard from her and it had her address on it,Jen want's to meet her but she can't go to New York,and Dawson can't so Jen and him ask you to go,but you won't go alone and you ask Joey to go with you,you go for the whole weekend but when you arrive ,she's already gone,so instead of going back Pacey convinces Joey to stay and that's when Joey realises that she's in love with him,and Pacey's already in love with her so things happen."
"Like what ?"Katie asks suspiciously
"Don't worry ,you'll find out at tomorrows reading,so what do you think?"
"Great,I get to kiss the Ice queen,no protest from me"Josh joked when secretly it was fantasy come true,he'd always wondered what it would be like kissing her
"Yeah,fine by me,is that it?"Katie had always wondered what kissing Josh would be like,but the only problem was she might get carried away,lose her senses
"You can go now,see you tomorrow,the readings just need you and Josh,so tell the two lovebirds,they've got an extra day together,all they need is for you 2 to finally realise how much you like each other and go out"Katie glared at Kevin
"hey" Kevin said laughingly "If looks could kill I'd be 6ft under now,you can go,wait Josh I just want a quick word with you"
"sure"
Kevin waited until she closed the door "Have you told her?"
"Told her what?"
"That your in love with her?"
"What!! I don't love her,sure she's beautiful,but I don't love her,I don't,I don't,I do....."
"Ah,you didn't realise till now,everybody's known that you two are head over heals in love with each other,people are even betting on you two,I've got $20 on you telling her first,so don't prove me wrong"
"Wait,you mean she loves me too?but were always fighting"
"Wise up,basic kindergarten rule,you like somebody you treat em mean,read between the lines,who does she always go to for help?who did she want with her when that stalker was here? YOU"
"Look I can tell I've shocked you,go after her,tell her,you'll regret it if you don't"
With that Kevin pushed him out the door and shut the door in his face,Josh couldn't care less,He loved her he always had ,it just been there growing,it was such an exhilarating thought and it felt so good when he said it out loud. He had to find her,he ran out and subconsciously he knew were to find her,and he was right she was stanting by the water,and she looked beautiful in the moonlight,he walked up behind her and knew she knew he was there,they shared this bond,he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and whispered in her ear "Unfinished business"
She knew what was coming next,she'd asked for it,but she'd made no move and had been pleasently shocked when he'd put his arms around her waist,she'd realized at that moment that she loved him,had always loved him,it had just taken a long time to realise it.
She felt his hot breath ticklind her ear as he whispered in her ear and then he trailed his tongue around her ear and then sucked her earlobe the same way she had,she couldn't help but shudder,it was the most erotic thing she had ever felt and didn't want him to stop.
He felt her shudder andrealised how much he was enjoying doing this,he moved hi mouth from her ear to her neck and slowly was kissing her,he was getting so aroused by this,and knew she was,but before he had to tell her before he lost all his senses,he turned her body quickly round to face him,and he was just going to tell her when she leaned foward and gave him the most passionate kiss he had ever had,he put his arms to cup her face and deepened the kiss,they were kissing each other with all the pent up passion they had carried fo each other for so long,he moved his hands through her hair and down her back where they rested on her waist,she had her arms around his neck and was pulling him closer and intensified the kiss,when they broke apart for air they were gasping,but he knew he had to tell her,he tenderly cupped her face and told her "I love you,Katie i always have,but i've just realised it now,i know i'm not good enough for you but i just had to tell you"
Katie looked up at him for reassurance and saw in his eyes that he was being scincire and saw love shining there she whispered "I love you too,i always have and i just realised it now when you put your arms around me,I love you and always will"and with that he broke into a grin,and hugged her and yelled "I love Katie and she loves me!!"
She hugged him,but he tripped and she fell and he fell on top of her,the laughter stopped and they started kissing,and they couldn't get enough of each other but then Josh remembered the only guy she'd ever slept with who'd made her feel unattractive and bad in bed and swore how he could do that to her,he knew she was anything but bad from the way he was feeling now He stopped her and whispered "Are you sure?" She looked up at him and only saw love and concern in his eyes and knew this time it was going to be different,she nodded
And then they made sweet passionate love to each other,Josh had vowed that he was going to make it,really special for her and he did and she made it special for him,and after they fell asleep in each others arms,under the stars. This was the start of the rest of there lives....
