Camp Sycamore

Part 1

by: Melanie

Disclaimer: I do not have rights to the characters of Joey Potter and Pacey Witter they are the creation of Kevin Williamson. I'm just a hopeless fan with nothing better to do than write.

Spoilers: This takes place during the summer between season 2 and season 3. Dawson is in Philedelphia, and Andie is Rhode Island.

Author's Note: This is my first fan fic, I want feedback!!! Tell me what you think so far, ideas, helpful hints whatever. But be honest, don't tell me it's great if you hate, okay???

FADE IN: Joey is staring a buliten board, looking for the perfect summer job. Looking frustrated, she comes across an add that captures her eye:

Teens needed
To be counselors at a summer camp
Must be reliable
And must be able to stay at camp 24/7
Call 555-5577

Joey takes a peice of paper from her pocket and jots the number down.

Enter Pacey:

Pacey: Well, well, well, what do we have here?

Joey: I'm looking for a job.

Pacey: Yah, well so am I.

Joey: What about the video store.

Pacey: It's just not the same without Dawson, yah know?? Anyways I've worked their too long as it is.

Joey: I'm going to try this one.

Pacey: Summer camp counselor. Hey that doesn't sound all that bad.

Joey: Pacey, the youth of America are corrupt enough, they don't need you to further lead them down the path of self distruction.

Pacey: And since when did you become Miss Apple Pie, All-American.

Joey: You really want this job?

Pacey: Sure kids are cool, especially little ones.

Joey: Then by all means take the job, I'm just making sure that you realize all the responsibility that goes a long with this type of commitment.

Pacey: Joey, I do not need your moral guidance, nor did I ask for it.

(Joey starts to walk away)

Looks like were going to be spending summer together.

(she continues walking)

Wow, we can roast marshmellows and sing by the camp fire together. Doesn't that just give you thrills.

Joey: No words can describe the way I feel right now. You have made me speachless, Pace.

Pacey: My God, I think Joesephine Potter just gave me a complement.

Joey: God, I can't believe that I have just encouraged the further inflation of your already large head.

Pacey: Cute, Joey, very cute.

(Pacey laughs, and walks the other way)

Fade Out.

Part 2 should be done by the end of the week
