In thegorean books it is not a strict line about restrictions.
Some MAster in there share their slaves like anything else one would share with a friend. Some Masters are so smitten by their slaves that they want them all for themselves. In some books it is a matter of the mood when the Master gives his slave(s) to other men or not. In Torvaldland the Jarl suually shares his slaves with the men of his crew but he gives them for the use by his will.
It is like with many other things not a strict policiy in the books.
It is not a crime whne a Master uses the slave of another one, the Master pays a certain fee forthe use oof the slave and that it is, no more punishment for such an act.
