Well, Jarl Thorrn, the books go two ways about it. They clearly state that a Free Man should choose death over slavery. On the other hand, there were lots of male slaves on Gor. In the mines, on the ships, and even the great Tarl Cabot Himself was a slave for a while.

In Torvaldsland we had male slaves, called thralls, they did the very heavy work, they were not valued any more than a beast of burden would be valued for its strength.
To move away a little from where "the books" are, for flicka the idea of a male submissive is abhorent, however having said that she feels she has no right to dictate to any other how they should choose to live their life.
