Okay, yes. I admit it. Some of Julian's movies can be....well....almost corny. Embarassing. But no matter what, I always enjoy his performance. He is an extremely talented actor, and because of this I can't hold it against him for his....interesting movie choices.
His acting career began at the early age of six, where he performed in plays. His first big break was in a British television series by the name of "A Married Man", also starring Anthony Hopkins. His first film, "Gothic", was offered to him by director Ken Russell. Julian had always admired him very much and desired to be part of any of his films.
One interesting thing is that he was actually the person that Anne Rice wanted to play Lestat in the movie "Interview With the Vampire".
