SLAVE RULES
1.Slaves will come in with their names in lower case letters and refer to themselves in lowercase (ex: i, me, mine) even at the beginning of a sentence.
2. In the same vein, all Nobles will be refered to in Capital letters at the beginning of Their name (ex. You. Your, His, Hers). you may use any term of respect you are comfortable with (ex. m'Lord, m'Lady, Sire, Highness, Sir) Please refrain from calling Nobles that do not own you Master and Mistress. Some rooms prefer it, but We feel it avoids confusion, and after all , a slave should have something special and different to call the one that owns them.
3. you must always ask for permission to leave. If you are not answered after the first time, then ask twice more if needed,... numbering each post.. but give ample time between posts... if still no answer thn you may go. Note that if no Noble is present you must ask the trainer if she is there. In the case of emergency, just leave, but be prepared to explain your unexpected departure when you return.
4. All slaves will treat each other with curteousy and respect. Rudeness to a brother or sister WILL NOT be tolerated and punishment will ensue. If you have a problem with another slave, take it to the trainer first. The trainer will decide if it is something she can handle or if it should go to Council. Pettiness, rudeness and overt backbiting jealousys do not make an attractive slave. Remember that before you take a complaint any further.
5. Laziness will not be tolerated, nor will sitting about gabbing with your sissys and brothers. Check often to see if you are needed to serve. If not then there are chores to be done. Be creative and keep busy. If you dont know what to do, ask the trainer and she will give you something to do. Playing and chatting is fully acceptable when your work is done.
6. No slave is EVER,EVER to strike a Noble or fight. The punishment for doing such is severe. This means NO sparring, NO grabbing a daggar to protect yourself (that is the job of the Nobles of Windstorm).The only time a slave should touch a weapon is if cutting something in the servery OR if their Owner needs theirs cleaned.. that is it. If you want to fight, come in as a Noble, there are no battle slaves Here. If you are alone in the room and a trouble maker comes in.. call someone to help You on icq. If No Nobles are around, you are to grab what posts you can and leave immediately.. do not ask for permission.. just leave, no punishment will ensue.
7.There will be no cutting and pasting of serves or chores. If it is found that you are (and believe Me, after time it is obvious) proper punishment will take place. Dances may be prepared in advance and cut and pasted as they take time to prepare for..
8. No slave is above another. There will be no telling a slave what to do from any other besides the Council, their Owner, and the slave trainer. Giving a new slave helpful advice or constructive critisism is fine, putting down anothers technique because it doesnt suit you is not. Council and/or the slaves personal Owner will decide what behavior a slave will bring to Windstorm. All slaves will follow the rules of Who owns them, be it the Castle or their Owner (of course within the guidelines of O/our Home).
9. Also remember (this may be a comfort) that no slave will be forced ito doing something which she is not willing to do. No Noble worth their salt will try to force a slave into sexual scening if they do not wish to. But you must make this known. Flirting is fine.. but do not go overboard with a Noble in a way that will make Them think you would like to go to pm with them in that way.
10. Remember N/noone is to pm without permission. Blanket permission is fine and fully acceptable. but jumping into pm to Someone who is not expecting it is not polite. If S/someone pm's you without permission, cut and paste it and post it in public. If it is an honest mistake.. politely post that you are not permitted to pm to this person.
11. Always remember your place and do not dishonor Windstorm with your tongue. A mouthy slave will NOT be tolerated nor thought of as one with fire. The first offense and the slave will be gagged.
12. Even if you have a Master you are to offer serves to All Nobles of Windstorm. All meaning All Lords, All Ladies, and All Visitors. you will serve Them with joy and pride in your home, even if you do not favor Them. It is not a slaves place to be choosy, only to honor their Home and their Owner.
13. You do have rights in Windstorm. You have the right to fairness. If you have trouble with a Noble, cut and paste the problem and bring it to the slave trainer or to Council. We see you as a person, not only property and without proof N/no one P/persons word will be taken over another. Remember Windstorm is here to protect you in exchange for your devoted service and abuses to you or harrassments will not be taken lightly.

*SERVING TIPS*
Every slave has there own technique. At Windstorm We encourage a slaves induviduality. Do not compare your serves to anothers.. or try to mimic their styles.. create serves that are uniquely and beautifully you. It will be appreciated by All that you have spent the time and effort to serve from your heart and soul and not thrown out a carbon copy of what you think a Noble would want to see.
Serve posts should run anywhere between 4 and 6 lines so that it may be read carefully.. any longer than that and it is hard to keep up... and alot of your effort will go unnoticed. Be descriptive and intresting.. describe the way your body is moving... the whisper of your slave garb as you move.. the joy in your heart to serve such a fine Noble.. anything you are feeling at the time.
When serving.. please try and do so quickly.. still taking the time and the proper steps, but actually getting the food or drink to the Person you are serving. If a slow computer is a problem. please let the Nobles know.. so that they do not become frustrated waiting for each post. We are quite understanding here so if those type of problems hinder your serves or responces.. please let us know.
*BASIC STEPS TO A SERVE*
1. Acknowledge the post with a short, aye m'Lord.. m'Lady ect
2. Ask for specifics on what they want.. if they say wine, for example.. do they want red or white.. chilled or room temp. Some will have already told you, but if not .. ask before going off to fetch it.
3. Moving to the servery: Describe your actions the way your hair flows about you, or the sweet swaying of your hips as you move.
4. Getting the vessels... food or drink.. you will need something to put it in.. show how you are doing this.. tell the Noble about the vessel you will be using. Remember the vessel must be polished and tested on a sensitive area of the body.
5. Getting the item you are serving:one thing.. you must know where the items you are getting are stored... as always be descriptive.
6. Taking it to the Noble: Keep it intresting, kneel before them, test, or offer to test what you are giving them, do so, then offer it to them in an appealing way.
7. After the item is taken, ask if you may serve further, once you are dismissed, leave the Nobles feet and offer service to Any others that may want it.
**These steps are just an example and can be expanded on in any way you see fit...your words should create a picture in your mind, and in the mind of the one you are serving. Consider the computer screen a canvas.. where you can practice your unique art.
** New slaves may be uncertain.. or afraid their serves arent very good as they are still learning. Be certain to develop your own style and work upon it. you will see your serves improving with time and practice.
