Name: Valor Dracul

Age: Appears to be in his mid-twenties (based on Human standards), but his piercing black eyes tell something different... (actual age is unknown, but is believed to be Ancient)

Sex: Male

Race: Vampir

Professions: Freelance Preceptor and Historian, Tracker and Practitioner of the Shadow Arts.

Appearence: Valor is 6' tall, medium build, deep black, piercing eyes (known to change hues quickly, depending on his mood), fair complexion, shoulder length straight, black hair, usually worn down...often slicked back neatly, allowing his long bangs to remain wild. A nicely shaped goatee covers his strong chin. He always wears black. He prefers formal attire; and wears it well. Has been seen in a long, black concealing robe with a large hood covering him in public.

Personality: Mysterious...

His demeanor shows him to be well educated. A born leader of men, teacher of many, student of many...wit and charm radiates from his being. His temperment is fairly well balanced, perseverant and assertive by nature. Valor possesses sensitivity and an appreciation for the finer and deeper things in Life. Enjoys reading, study, and contemplation about a wide range of subjects. When his interests or curiosity is aroused, he works intensely at new undertakings with a passion, but those interests often wane when encountering drudgery and monotony.

Valor's name sake has lead him into many bitter experiences. The greatest lack in his life is stability and peace of mind. A peaceful and quiet environment, especially out in nature, is one of his greatest desires, but most often finds himself under chaotic conditions, under perpetual struggle. Because Valor has high ideals and principles, he has been disillusioned and disappointed in people on many occasions, and has experienced much aloneness inwardly as a result. Impulsive and unpredictable by nature, at times causes him unfortunate happenings, has taught him the virtue of patience.

His proper graces and distinguished manner presents him as "a Lover, not a Fighter"...even tender...but do not be mistaken, he is always prepared to engage a confrontation, and act accordingly with utmost valor. He kills only when he must. "Death before dishonor". Valor does not like to be restricted or having his freedom curtailed in any way. His greatest virtue is his strong sense of Honor, through Truth and Justice. His greatest dislike is deceit.

Weapons: Valor carries a double-edged broad sword of traditional appearances, but possesses a unique power source of it's own. It was forged of Iron by his own hand, tempered with incantations in majikal waters, by the light of a full moon. Valor's blade can cut through stone at full swing, making short work of the heads of enemies. He also bears a silver dagger, seven inches in length from the blade's tip to it's Romanian leather wrapped hilt, given him as a gift...it too, is majikal. He wears it in his boot or at his waist at all times. And although each of these armaments are deadly, Valor's sharpest weapon is his mind.

Majik: Among Valor's many powers, many of which are still unknown to him, he excells in the following: clairvoyance, hypnotism, entrancement, enchantment, seduction, fading, spellbinding; a master of the powers of the mind and it's inner-workings. His most commonly used Majik is the power of the Gangrel, animalistic shape shifting; his favorite form being the Raven. And fading, assuming his shadow form to traverse quickly from place to place in stealth.

The complete history of Valor Dracul could fill volumes. Once a Master Vampire, once Lord of a kingdom...his known past in Tyran dates back to the time of the first revolution in the Land. When Dark Kingdom first was formed...dividing the blood of the Manor. He was known then as "Vlar de Dracul". He later formed the Clan of "The Q", the symbol of his circle, coven, armada. (Visit The Q Memorial.) He took on a Mistress: Willow Moon, who eventually returned to the vampire who had created her. "Vana-pyre of The Q" succeeded her.

Vlar became blood brothers with Shyno of Dk (previously Prince TaraSani of Manor), while governing The Q. Dark Kingdom and The Q became of one blood. This union of clans became the first "blood bond" in the Land. At the time, the largest clans in the Land were zX, vW, Dk, and vM.

One evening, Vlar met up with the one known as Sexy Vampiress. She was new in the Land, and had many questions. They spoke at some length, and what started as a peaceful meeting, soon turned ugly. Sexy Vampiress disrespected Vlar and The Q, and signed her own death warrant in doing so. The Q executed her for her insolence. Sexy's soul returned in a new body, named Lamia Varacolaci, aka Lady Death, and together with her minions, formed the clan of vT in order to seek revenge on The Q. Lamia's plans soon changed when she learned the ways of Tyran, and she and Vlar became friends.

For a time, things were joyous...their only enemies the hated Slayers. They fought by night, fed by night, Loved by night, and slept by day. The Manor Clan still ruled the Land, in it's rightful place, under some struggle for power from Dark Kingdom. With Lord Shaytan, founder of Tyran's Cove, at Manor's head, sole ruler of the Land (though, some sought to usurp that power). The Arts reached their peak in the Land. There was a harmonious balance at work. All was elated. But this "Golden Age" of Tyran was not long-lived...

Soon, came the beginnings of the "second revolution"...when the diabolicly evil forces surfaced in Tyran's Cove. Lord Shyno was murdered by his clan, the High Council believing they no longer needed a "Lord", wished to govern themselves. He later was resurrected as an "equal" among them. The peace loving clans did not last long, as the common goal was becoming increasingly "war minded". It seemed that everyone wanted to rule.

During this time, Vlar met up with a woman named Thunderess. He heard bad things about her...but watched her closely in search of the truth. He believed her when she told him that she was a victim of Lies, and gave her the benefit of the doubt; that she was simply misunderstood. He learned that she was Shyno's Love, and that they wished to be married. However, this was not possible, due to the fact that Dk despised her, and would not allow her to be in Dk...preventing their union from taking place. So, Vlar consulted with both his brother Shyno and Thunderess, and it was decided that the best thing would be for Thunderess to become of The Q. She would then be under The Q's protection, and of the same blood as Dk...without the fear of persecution by Dk. And so, their marriage was now suddenly made possible.

Almost immediately, Thunderess_Q began termoil among The Q. She showed Mistress Vana-pyre no respect, and sought to seduce Vlar night after night...to which he refused her, out of loyalty to his brother and beloved Mistress. Until one night, Thunderess came to Vlar in tears, telling him that their engagement had been broken off...and that she had returned the ring to Shyno. Mistress Vana-pyre had been scarce of Late, and so...Thunderess succeeded in her plot to seduce Vlar.

The following night, Vlar was overwhelmed with guilt...he professed his shameful misdeed to his Love, Mistress Vana-pyre, asking her forgiveness. In an attempt to make ammends, Vlar went to his brother Shyno, to try to reconcile the two. Immediately, he realized that Thunderess had tricked him, when Shyno was oblivious to what he spoke of. Their engagement was still in effect, and it had all been a Lie, in order to seduce Vlar, and bring him shame. Vlar and Shyno called Thunderess to them at once...and confronted her. She lied once more, denying everything that Vlar had told Shyno. Furious, Vlar stripped Thunderess of her Q right there and then, dismissing her from his ranks.

The next night when Vlar entered the pub, he was attacked by Thunderess and Pandora of Dk, without cause. Right away, Vlar realized what had happened...this evil demon had turned his own blood against him with her Lies, convincing Pandora that she was in mortal danger from Vlar. Vlar was forced to flee, having no desire to attack his own blood...set on getting to the bottom of this. The rumors and Lies swept Tyran...and The Q became hunted, making him the very first "K.O.S." (Kill On Sight) in the Land.

After many nights of this, false news of his death was reported by Thunderess. Soon, Vlar was cast out from Tyran, wrongly accused...his clan destroyed, his friends and Loved ones dead to him. Vana-pyre remained at his side as Mistress till the bitter end... until she, too, became hunted and attacked, and ultimately forced to leave the Land; leaving Vlar alone in the wake of The Q's destruction.

Vlar tried to leave the Land, but was unable...for the evil forces which had destroyed him were not content to leave it at that. They brought in "clones"...masquerading as Vlar and other false names bearing the mark of The Q, in order to discredit him even more. Among these evil doers were Malice, RUNE, diekraft, and even his "brother", Shyno. Read more about it in the Archives. There was one who stood by him, and kept him sane through all of it...Queen Lady Death of vT; a dear friend to him, who would later go on to become his one and only Wife.

During this immense strain on Vlar's mind and spirit, Vlar's Sanguine half entered a state of "Torpor", leaving only his mortal body behind. This change revealed a new side of himself to explore...his "humanity". He called himself Nicolai Knight. Nicolai had a secret romance with Lady Death while still wed to Lord Death of vT. She became with child, and allowed Lord Death to believe it was his. Lamia became deathly ill, and Nicolai gave his Life's blood to save her and their unborn child. Lamia resurrected him as vT_Valor Dragula, where he acted as Royal Advisor to the Queen.

By the time the child was born, Lord Death had stepped down as King, having left Tyran for reasons of his own. And, Lamia was now involved with Dethstryk of the Gunslingers. They allowed people to believe the child was Dethstryk's, and Deth raised him as his own son. He was named Nicolaistryk, after his Father. Valor left vT when Lamia followed Deth on the path of the Gunslingers.

During this time, the moderners were steadily taking over... Councils replaced Lords, guns replaced swords; causing blood shed and chaos to run rampant. Old Kingdoms were obliterated. Blood turned against blood, brother against brother. New clans appeared and disappeared over night. The face of the Land was drastically changing...

Upon returning to Tyran by his old name, Vlar Dracul, he was soon challenged by Shadow of Dk, aka Dark Shadow Lord, in a contest to the Death, having been pressured to do so by his family for political reasons, and not for any personal reason for a Death match, as they were strangers at the time. Vlar was Knighted into vT by Lady Death, to fight for his Honor in the arena. The contest was met with by record numbers attending. So many, in fact, that they were forced to move the duel to a private location. Judging, were Dethstryk of the Gunslingers and Princess Jadessa of Manor. The fight was neck to neck, and Vlar was narrowly defeated by Shadow.

Lady Death returned to vT, and Vlar's spirit remained, visiting her regularly, still acting as her ghostly "Advisor". It was in this unnatural state that Vlar and Lady Death yearned to be more... Time passed, and Shadow came to realize the error of his act. He resurrected Vlar in the vT Kingdom, so that Vlar and Lady Death could be united in matrimony.

Vlar Dracul became known as "Lord Vlar Death of vT". A great many in the Land hated the idea of this union for selfish and bias reasons, and set out to destroy it. Assassination attempts were made, more lies and slander were spread, Lady Death was pressured by bad influences...forcing Vlar to step down as Lord. He and Lady Death divided on ill terms.

Lamia (Lady Death) soon found herself with child once more, and she knew right away that the child was Vlar's. She did not know what to do. She decided it best to not reveal it. When her size began to show, she returned to her homeland, visiting her sister, Lamidia, until she had delivered there. She had a beautiful little girl with Raven black hair, and named her Drucilla, after her Father, La Dracul. It was not long before word reached Lamia that her clan was being run into the ground in her absence. And so, she asked her sister to watch over Drucilla for her, for she could not take her with her. But, she vowed to return for her.

War soon came to their Land, and Lamidia fearing for their lives, left with Drucilla. Being so, Lamia lost touch with her sister and Drucilla. And so, Drucilla was raised believing Lamidia to be her Mother... until the day upon her death bed, Lamidia confessed the truth of Drucilla's heritage to her. She took her final words and held them dear to her heart. Vowing to find her parents, she embarked on the long journey ahead of her, to seek out her roots in this unknown land called Tyran's Cove...(More about Drucilla)

At this time, Lord zXShaytanXz himself, ruler of Tyran, abandoned the Land. His reasons remain his own, but it was said that he had not been the same since the tragic death of his beloved, our fallen Lady Gabriela. Hence, the beginning of the "Dark Age" in Tyran... Dethstryk of the Gunslingers tried to take Shaytan's place when he left, as the new Lord of Tyran. He endeavered to reform Tyran with the advent of guns and modern weapons...to "modernize" the Land. Many people did not like the changes they were seeing, and Deth was soon driven away, himself. Next, Lady Jadessa married the one known as "The Spellweaver", and he became the new Lord of Manor; and subsequently, the closest thing to a "leader" Tyran had. It was not long before he, too, was hounded from office by the people, accusing him of being "power hungry", apparantly not meeting the people's standards of Rule. Spell stepped down, and he and Jadessa parted ways, as well.

LORD GRIM of the "House of GRIM" later came into power, slowly but surely. This egocentric Tyrant even went so far as to campaign for the Title of "Emperor of Tyran", to which he sorrely failed. Tyran has since tried to put on all appearances of a "democracy". A facsimile of the days of old began returning to the face of Tyran's Cove. Soon after this came to pass, guns were banished, and a reformation in the Land begins; the "third revolution".

Since this time, Vlar kept more to himself, remaining sparse, not frequenting public places. He became a "watcher", whenever he ventured out. He furthered his practice of The Shadow Arts in his time away. Keeping reclusive habits, he often invited guests to his Home, visiting on a more personal basis. As time passed, he slowly returned to the outside. And eventually, back out into the world. Vlar traversed to many Lands, crossing the barriers of time and space...but no matter where he went, and what glorious sights he beheld, he always found himself back in Tyran's Cove.

Vlar became involved with the Lady Night Jora, and they sought to begin a new family together. They quickly became engaged, bringing Absydian Dracul in as their first addition to the family, "Les Draculs". This arrangement was not long lived...and the engagement was called off. They soon parted their seperate ways. Vlar left Tyran once more, visiting old and new Lands, in search of new destinies...
