Elle (El-lee) Bradley, a 19-year-old public relations representative for Jive Records New York, is shocked when she finds out that she will be featured on the cover of "The Monthly Jive" because of her surprise interview with the Backstreet Boys. Elle's thoughts drift back to Nick and the friendship that they once shared before he became famous. In turn, Nick realizes that he also has feelings for Elle, which are beginning to resurface. On the day that they meet once again, tragedy strikes and the pair realize that they need each other more than they ever thought possible.
