Lesson 7: Candle Magick Basics

Candle Magick is a very basic, rather in expensive,
and very good way to do spells. Before you begin here
are some things that you should know.
Candles should only be used once. Either burn the
candle all the way or burry it. Candles cannot be
cleansed and used again for another spell. Most
candle spells call for the candle to be burnt out or
burnt on consecutive days/nights until it has burnt
out. If it's winter and you can't burry the candle
stubs keep a box of them to be buried together when
the weather is warmer.
Colors:
*White-Spiritual enlightenment, cleansing,
clairvoyance, healing, truth, seeking, lunar energy,
or may be used for any other candle color.
*Yellow-Activity, creativity, unity,
concentration and imagination, confidence, persuasion,
solar energy.
*Gold-Understanding, attracts cosmic
influences, fast luck or money, solar energy
*Pink-Romance, friendship, draw affections,
femininity, honor, service.
*Red-Health, passion, love, fertility,
strength, courage, will power, sex
*Silver-Removes negativity, encourages
stability, psychic, lunar powers
*Purple-Power, success, idealism, psychic
manifestations, independence, financial rewards,
spiritual
*Brown-Earth, balancing, fertility, eliminates
indecisiveness, improves concentration, study,
telepathy, financial success, locates lost objects
*Indigo-Stops situations or people, good for
deep meditation
*Royal Blue-Promotes laughter and joviality,
increase influence
*Light Blue-Spiritual, devotional or
inspirational meditations, brings peace and
tranquility to home
*Blue-obtain wisdom, harmony, inner light,
peace, truth, guidance
*Emerald Green-Attracts love, social delights,
fertility
*Dark Green- Counter acts ambition, greed
jealousy
*Green-Prosperity, fertility, success, Good
luck, money, harmony, rejuvenation
*Grey-Neutralizing
*Black-banishing evil or negativity
To do candle magick you need to pick a color which
corresponds to what you're doing. Say you're doing a
money spell, you'd want to find the colors that would draw
money to you: green, gold, or white. Charge the candle
by visualizing money coming to you. Light it and let it burn
out or burn it for several days in a row.
The above can be modified for any spell.
