Chapter Eleven

"Larry, take the boys to wardrobe." said the director.

'As Long As You Love Me' was going to be the next single, but the video wouldn’t premiere until the Fall. They needed to get this video and 'All I Have To Give' out of the way so they could have room to tour later on. This video was about five guys and five girls that watch each other perform. First the bsb go before the ladies and sing, then the girls switch places with them. It was shot in a day, but they rehearsed the night before and woke up at six o'clock am in the morning.

"That's a rap!" the director shouted as he turned off the camera.

The Boys were exhausted and wanted to get something to eat. As the crew was rapping up, the five girls walked towards the van that came to pick them up. "Hey Brian, you were hot in the video." Leighanne said with a wink and a smile.

"Oh, I guess we looked horrible." Howie said to the other guys.

Nick looked at Howie. "No, just you Howie."

Everyone laughed except Howie who rolled his eyes and walked away.

"Oh Howie lighten up. I am sorry." Nick said as Howie walked away.

During all this B-Rok went outside to talk to Leighanne who was just about to get on the van. "Hey, you wanna go to dinner with me tonight?"

She smiled at him and reached into her purse and pulled out a stick of lipstick. With it she wrote her number on the back on his hand with a little heart at the end of it. Stepping on the van, she blew him a kiss and he waved giving him a sideways smile. "Hey Frick, we're all going to go to the Steakhouse okay?" Nick said. "What is that?" he added after seeing Brian's hand.

"Its Leighanne's phone number. I'm going to dinner with her tonight."

Nick slapped his hand. "You go boy!" he said with a smile.

Back at the hotel, the guys took showers and got ready to eat.

"Hey Nick, can I borrow your shirt? The green one." he asked when Nick was in the shower.

"Sure!" he yelled as he turned off the water in the shower.

"Hey Frick what did Leighanne say?"

"I'm gonna pick her up at the Ramada Inn down the street in about five or ten minutes." he explained.

Nick opened the bathroom door and went to grab his cloths. He had just a towel wrapped around his waste and his hair was still dripping wet. "Good luck man, you're lookin' spiffy."

Brian looked in the mirror checking if everything was okay. "I'm alittle nervous. I mean Holly was the last girl I went out with and that was two summers ago. And might I add she wasn’t as fine as Leighanne."

Nick walked over to Brian at the mirror and fixed his collar for him. "You'll do fine. Just be yourself Frick." Nick reassured him.

"Okay, I'm off. Thanks Frack. Have fun at the Steakhouse and don’t wait up for me!" Brian said as he left the room.

As Nick was dressing the phone rang.

"Hello?",said Nick.

"Hello Baby!" Kevin said jokingly in an English accent.

"Hey Kev. I'll be down in a minute. Bye.",he said then hung up the phone.

"Dinner was nice." Leighanne said as her and Brian strolled along the boardwalk by a nearby beach. "Hey your should come with me to this really cool boardwalk by my house. That's where I work now.",she explained. Brian looked at her with a frown. "Well actually, I will only be here for a week. We shoot "All I Have To Give' then we go back to Florida."

She gave him a snotty look. "Then why the hell did you ask me out?" she demanded.

"I thought you were cool and I wanted to hangout with you." he explained.

"Look Brian, I'll date you when you're here, but don’t expect me to have a long distance relationship or anything like that!" she said.

Brian looked at Leighanne with surprise. "You wouldn’t even be willing to try?",he asked sadly. She rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry, I can't waste my life like that. I need to experience life. Ya here? Yeah I think you're hot, but a serious relationship is not for me right now." she said to him.

Brian knew he had made a mistake and he wished he could be somewhere else, anywhere else but he had to be mature and finish the date. "I'm sorry you feel that way Leighanne." he said coldly.

She put her hands on his chest and began to caress him, then put her arms around his neck. "We can still make the most of our time together." she whispered to him.

Leighanne was hard to resist, but Brian was not looking for any one night stands. He had dated a lot fo girls from other countries, but never came close to a one night stand and he wasn’t about to start now. "Knock it off Leighanne!" he cried as he took her arms off him. "Maybe I should take you home now Leighanne.",he said in total disgust with himself. Leighanne, frustrated as ever, agreed so Brian drove her back to the hotel. "Thanks for nothing!" she cried then slammed the car door.

Brian sat in the car for a while before he drove back to the hotel. It was around eleven o'clock and the other guys must have gotten back by now. He finally started the rented care and drove away. Leighanne had been everything he'd ever wanted. Blonde hair, long legs, beautiful, but she was missing an important part of a human being. She didn’t have a personality.
