M'haps a protal brought you here, but you know that this is not your realm. In truth, it's the Realm of the Imaji. You step out of the mists into a clearing surrounded by great rowan and oak trees. A winding cobbled stone path leads you away from the grove into a clearing. As you gaze up, your attention is held captive by the shimmering celestial jewels that seem to have been carelessly strewn in haste by some goddess. Six small moons light your way and journey further into the clearing. A great sense of serenity fills you in this forest that has never known the bite of steel.

As you enter through the dense polished oaken door with delicate ivy leaf carvings, your attention is drawn to the opulent oak and rowan wood panels that grace the tavern's walls. The panels have been polished to a high luster bringing out the wood's natural beauty. Each panel depicts in high relief carvings, a history of this world. Some show battle scenes of demonic creatures against their own brethren. Others show woodland scenes of animals in play or flight. If you look close enough, some of the carvings move with a life of their own. Was it a trick of the low illumination and oft eh shadows? The walls are graced by roundel onyx carved dragon sconces. Elegant, yet simple clear glass hurricane glass oil lamps grace the tables that are spread through the common room. Illumination is not overly harsh but kept to low amber glow to provide enough privacy. Scents of sandalwood, jasmine, and vanilla waft through the place in thin wisps of fragrant smoke coming from burning incense. It smolders in tall bronze coiled pillars that resemble a coiled thick ropes. A top, rests half moon shaped bowels, here incense is added every now.

In the back of the room is a massive stone hunter's hearth. There are no tables near the hearth, only a few strewn velvet and silk cushions on which to repose after a hard day of labour or idle pursuits. In front of the hearth is a plush hand woven boiled wool -- silk carpet with flowery and darting deer patterns. In the center of the common room, is a raised platform for performances. To the far wall, opposite the bar counter, lined up like sentinels are large dark cherry wood booths. These offer privacy from prying eyes and ears. They are lined with leather cushions and a thick dark red velvet curtain can be drawn over the entrance of the booths to shut out the noise of the common room.

The bar counter can be found at one end of the common room in line with the door, giving the tender ample view of all that enter and leave. The kitchen is well stocked with fresh produce from the fruit orchards and herb/vegetable gardens located in the back of the tavern gardens. The surrounding forests provide plenty of game.

Upstairs are rooms reserved for the family. Patrons may lodge for the night for the right price. Appearances are deceiving though. The place gives off an aura of light. In reality, the Family that owns this place is neither light nor evil. They are dark creatures who exist and thrive on their own quests for pleasure, knowledge, and power. Hedonist pursuits for some is the ultimate goal. Power does not always mean brute physical force. There are many forms and definitions of power. You have entered an exotic world of sensual -- dark beauty, a world of ancient mystique, arcane knowledge, perilous dark beauty, and deadly sensuality.
