There is a lucrative trade in goods produced by the Keep's shops in feathers, leathers, cloths, foods, herbs, medicines, gemstones, among other products from the corners of the Empire. The Imperial Codex prohibits the killing of animals for their pelts that are not designated for domesticated consumption.

Patience is the greatest virtue among Imajians and the view that all life is sacred governs how animals are treated. The leathers used in the Keep's shops are used from the aniamls use to provide the sweet suculents meats that Household members feast on. Nothing is wasted from the consumed animals. The bones are grounded up for fertilizer and others are used for delicate carvings and tools.

Here you will find suades, soft leathers, raw hides, pelts, and hard leathers of all grains, qualities, colors, and textures. The scents here are musky and pleasant. The animals from which the pelts come from are domesticated herd animals used for meats. Not only garments like hats, shoes, boots, gloves, belts, coats, and other other items of clothing are made here, but garb used by warriors. Shields, helmets, greaves, gauntlets, braces, sword frogs, baldrics, and full body armour are made here also.
Great care is taken with each individual piece of leather. Each piece is seen as a distinct work of art. It is not uncommon to find pieces of leathers adorned with gemstones or metals and crafted pieces made from leather such as dragons, wolves, talons, and other natural motifs such as leaves.
