In the Household, many have the talent of shaping and molding metal into useful creations that are forged with magic.
Often times, a mage will work closely with one of the blacksmiths to create a specific artifact.

From the distant cliffs, ocean born winds mix in an undulating dance with the much cooler - flowery aromas carried from the nearby forests and gardens covering at the place where dreams are born from fire's metamorphic embrace. Anvil and hammer work hard into the premorning aura of dawn molding metals into the stuff of fantasies. This is the Keep's Forge where the Impa' and the Keep's Master Smiths work under the watchful eyes of the Six Sisters and Solarians to bring the longings of their imaginations to life.

Weapons of war are not the only things born and fleshed by fire's hungry fingers here but objects of beauty as well. The Smiths get creative with their creations such as this steel rose. They also create wall and garden ornamentation and from time to time work with closely with other artisans of the Keep to create other objects such as wall mirrors enveloped in a scroll work of black iron darting deer, laurel leaves, and acorns for example.

Shaped like a king's round crown, the forge is a building made from black peacock granite. The stone has an opalescent jeweled sheen that is only visible when light strikes its surface. A series of interlocking towers make up the outer perimeter of its outer five feet thick walls. The towers alternate between smaller ones measuring six stories in height with those measuring twelve stories in height. A domed vaulted dome covers the structure. Each of the towers has long ventilation shafts through which ocean born breezes navigate a course into the bowls of this fiery dreamscape. Coal and fire have a permanent presence here. In the lower chambers of this place are storage rooms and sleeping quarters. There are specially warded chambers where those who have mastered the arcane arts and working with metal forge their own creations.

In the subterranean chambers are pools of sulfuric acid and thermal mineral water. Lave flows and rives of fire flow through this underground primordial world. The place was carved right into the stone floor of the area so that tunnels reach deep into the cavernous hive below the Keep proper. Despite the intense heat and burning winds, the master smiths and their assistants labor until each creation is completed.

Whether a seasoned warrioress or a woman of the court, the ladies of the Keep, enjoy their little toys.
Thus, the blacksmiths have created beautiful yet practical weapons for the womenfolk of the Family.
One can't always be dragging around a large blade.
A bodice dagger is a nice little toy with a hilt disguised in the shape of scissors' handle for a proper lady to hide among her frills and lace.
The stiletto is easily hidden in one's boot out of sight and is within easy access.

From shamshirs, falcatas, to cutlasses, we will make your ideal weapon.
