Our Process: The process of writing is always similar, varying only slightly when you change the type of writing. You are writing a Tall Tale.

The steps of the writing process we will be using for your writing are:
1. Brainstorming: you will answer the 4 questions from the TASK page and think about any other important things you'll need in your story.
2. Rough Draft: you will organize all of your information into an actual story. That means it will have a beginning, middle, and an end.
3. Editing: you will exchange papers with a classmate for peer editing. This means you will check each other's papers for spelling or grammar errors.
4. Final Draft: you will re-copy your rough draft with corrections onto a clean sheet of paper. Sometimes, final drafts look even better if they are typed.
5. Illustration: they are not always included in the writing process, but when writing a tall tale, an illustration usually adds alot to the story. You will draw a picture of the hero/heroine or a scene from your story on a seperate sheet of paper.
