Application
Goal:
Verify the accuracy of device configurations and their interoperability.
Web validation references this comprehensive rule base to
verify card slot assignments, component and software compatibility,
memory and power capacities, IP address completeness, and connectivity integrity, for example.
Robust error-checking and suggestion messages are presented to the user to help guide them through the validation process.
The result: error-free orders.
Application Modules:
1. C++ wrapper for legacy code (Rule
engine).
2. Stateless session EJB that calls
the above legacy code via JNI/RMI method.
3.
XML based language that provides the rule engine current configuration
and presents the
client
correction suggestion list.
4. Presentation
layer implemented by Java Server Pages.
Platform: Weblogic application server 5.1 SP8 runs on Win32 server or UNIX.
Development Languages: C++, Java JNI, Java RMI, J2EE.
Development Duration: 4 months.
