Hi. This is my site, wow....w/e. I know it sux ass, but in a way, i hope it can be helpful to the many troubled vamps who suspect they are going through the awakening process. I myself suspect the same and i haven't finished this process. I have been undergoing this process for quite some time now, and i know how hard it can be to find help and information on this subject, so i hope this site helps.
Well for starters, if many of you are not aware of what the "Awakening" process is, it is the process in which the vampire undergoes certain changes, and also begins to realize who and what they really are. Many young vampires do not realize what is happening to them. One major symptom in result of this, is that the vampire then becomes depressed, sometimes for certain reasons, sometimes for no reason at all, or sometimes it can be both. Some other symptoms that the vampire might also experience is: Hunger, they are hungry all the time no matter how much they eat, they hurt inside for some awkward reason and they often feel different or unlike their peers, even if they are accepted. They have violent mood swings and can get very snappy and grouchy at times. There are also two types of vampires, psi and sang. Psi vamps do not need blood to survive. Instead they feed on the energy of their victim or willing partner. This energy is called lifeforce. Everything has lifeforce. Psi-Vamps either don't have enough of this energy, or they crave even more. Another energy that psi-vamps feed on is pranic energy, or sexual energy. Many psi-vamps will start feeding without knowing it. Its around this time when the vampire will begin to take a lot of interest in Vampires, and other related natures. Sang vamps feed on blood. They do not receive the benefits from psi or pranic energy. Sang vamps receive their blood through various ways, but the most common would be through a donor. A donor is one who gives or shares his/her blood or life energy. A vampire must first tell its donor about the precautions during this procedure, and also about the procedure. The donor must then give or share his/her blood willingly. If the donor feels uncomfortable about the procedure and refuses, they are then permitted to leave. The Awakening process is the most exciting stage of a vampires life, but at the same time, it is also the hardest. The vampire experiences many changes, feelings, desires, and questions. Do not be afraid to admit or explore your true nature. If you are going through this process DO NOT BE AFRAID. During the Awakening process the vampire may also find many answers through internet support sites, and through experimentation. At first the vampire may feed sexually, or psionically, if they have a boyfriend/girlfriend, but they will inevitably try blood. Through time and experience with these different methods, the vampire then begins to remember more about who and what they are/were, and it begins to feel right. When this happens, it is called the Awakening. This is as much info as i know, and as much info that you'll be able to find on the internet. There is more info and answers, but those can only be found through one's self. I hope i provided enough information to support the young vamps going through this same process.
