1. Saying the words "I am a witch" does not a witch make thee, nor by heredity itself, nor the collecting of initiations, titles, or degrees. A witch works to control the forces within themselves that make life possible to live in harmony with nature wisely and well without harm to others.
2. Yes, we practice rites, rituals, but... The rites we practice are only to attune ourselves with the natural rhythm of life forces that are marked by the phases of the moon, the seasonal quarters, and the cross quarters.
3. We believe that we should seek that which contributes to our well being and health within Nature herself.
4. We recognize that our intelligence gives us a unique responsibility to our environment. We live in harmony with Nature, in an ecological balance that offers fulfillment of life and consciousness within an evolutionare concept.
5. We conveive of the Creative Power in the universe as manifesting through polarity - as feminine AND masculine - and that this same Creative Power lies in all people, and functions through the interaction of the feminine and masculine. We value neither above the other, knowing each to be supportive of the other. We value sex as a pleasure, as the symbol and embodiment of life, and as one of the sources of energies used in magickal practice and religious worship.
6. We believe in the affirmation and fulfillment of life in continuation of evolution and development of consciousness giving meaning to the universe we know and our personal role within it.
7. We see religion magick and wisdom in living as being united in the way one views the world and lives within it - a world view and philosophy of life which we identify as Witchcraft - The Wiccan Way.
8. We acknowledge a depth of power far greater than that appearant to the average person. Because it is greater than the ordinary it is sometimes called "supernatural" when it is actually lying within what is naturally potential to all.
9. We recognize both the outer and inner, or psychological, worlds, and we see in the inter-action of there two dimensions as the basic magickal esercises. We neglect neither dimension as both are necessary for our fulfillment and balance.
10. We are not threatened by debate on the history of the Craft, the origins of carious terms, the legitimace of various aspects of different traditions. We are concerned with our present and future.
11. We do not accept the concept of absolute evil, nor do we worship or even believe in any entitu known as "Satan" or "The Devil" as defined by the Christian tradition. We do not seek power through thesuffering of others, we do not accept that personal benefit can be derived only by denial to another. "An ye harm none..."
12. We do not recognize any authoritarian hierarchy, but do honor and respect the teachers who share their greater wisdom and knowledge.
13. Our only animosity toward Christianity or any other religion or philosophy of life is to the extent that its institutions have claims to being "the only way" and have sought to deny freedon to others, attempting to suppress the other ways of religious practice and belief.
