THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE ONLINE GAMES

SINGLE PLAYER GAMES:

Snood
A TOTALLY addictive game. Don't say I didn't warn you. It's for download only... free for a while... $14.95 to buy.Try it... you WILL get hooked !

Zuma
As with most great games... it is deceptively simple. Just shoot and clear the balls away before they go down the drain. The download looks and plays a lot better.

Hangaroo
Play hangman and try to save the smart-ass, loud-mouth kangaroo from getting his just reward

QBz
Get rid of blocks of little square creatures... "QBeez togethaaa !"

Writers Block
A challenging Boggle-like game. Think fast and make as many unique words as you can. Hours of fun. You'll find yourself saying "THAT'S a word?!?

Bejeweled (Diamond Mine)
The online game is fun, but the download rocks.

Mahjong Tiles
Match the tiles and try to clear the board. Again, the download is much better.

TextTwist
How many words can you make out of the given letters? More than you think...

Word Up
A satisfying word-making game. If you play it, you must say "Blow it back to God" every time you use the dynamite. It's the law...

Virus
Their description: "Grow a virus to infect the whole playing area in as few moves as possible" My description? A fun, silly little game that is more addictive and challenging than it looks or sounds!

MULTI-PLAYER / GAME SHOW GAMES:

Inklink
A "Pictionary" / "Win, Lose, or Draw" type of game. You have to draw... no spelling allowed ! You can chat with the other people in your room as you play, too.

Solingo
Much like the old Game Show Network version called "Lingo". Brush up on your 5 lettered words, you'll need them! It's a single player version... but still addictive!

Disc Pool (formerly Couronne Deluxe)
Kind of a air-hockey / pool game. Once you get the hang of it, it's great... but TOTALLY addictive! Play for free in unranked rooms, or pay for ranked membership...

Backgammon
Nabisco has a nice little site for this. You can join an open game (with people from around the world), make or join a private game (for you and your friends), or play a single player game against the computer. Good graphics, smooth game.

Family Feud
Remember the old Richard Dawson hosted game show? Yup, that one. AOL does a good job bringing it to the web. Since Uproar Games went belly up, this is the only online version I can find, and it's single player. But it's still lots o fun. Be warned... like a lot of these games here...once you start...it can be hard to stop.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
No Regis, and the rules are a little different, but still a fun and challenging waste of time.

Jeopardy
All the game show-y fun without the "Oh, dear, no" smugness of Alex Trebek. This version has a Respond or Pass option, and the answers are multiple choice. That's not true Jeopardy, I know... but it avoids the spelling problems of other versions. AKA: "Quick ! How do you spell Schwartzenegger... Shwartzenaggar... Schwarzenagger... SCHWARZENEGGER !!"
