Tifa's Friends and Love Interests
Cloud Strife: You know, these two would've made a great couple if Zell hadn't had stepped into the picture. Cloud and Tifa loved each other ever since childhood. Even when Aeris was introduced into the scene, she didn't tear them apart. For more info, head to:

But unfortunately for Cloud, Zell was open with his emotions and saw Tifa for what she was. He helped Tifa open up her feelings a bit more, and that's why she's with him. So sorry, Cloud! You missed out!
Aerith Gainsborough: These two could never become friends. Aerith was a selfish, childish, just plain bitchy slut-like woman towards the entire FF7 cast, INCLUDING Tifa. She threw herself all over Cloud when he wasn't interested in her. She backstabbed Tifa and did some pretty mean things infront of her. Tifa tried to be friendly and nice to her, and even cried when she died. Aerith nothing more then a BITCH. Thankfully she died, so the "friendship facade" died right then and there.
Barret Wallace: As a member of AVALANCHE and Barret as the leader, they get along and seem on a pretty friendly basis. In a way, Tifa got Cloud to join and at first Barret wasn't too happy about paying another mercenary for a job. Tifa is also a friend to his daughter, Marlene who lived in Sector 7 until it blew up. So he's sorta like her father, and he trusts her, so they were nothing more then just friends. 'Sides, Barret's a bit old for Tifa to be dating. LoL
Nanaki: Red and Tifa first met in Shinra HQ, when she sympathized him being trapped in a specimin chamber. Throughout the game, I noticed they didn't really interact much, but there was some sort of link between the two. She would always give him spirit and tell him to be strong, and he would do the same for her. That's pretty friendly.
Cid Highwind: Cid may act like a dumbass at times, but he has a good heart. He's pretty nice to Tifa and the other characters, especially since he didn't try to kill them when they crashed the Tiny Bronco. But he shows no interest in Tifa... he seems to care for Shera... in a way.
Sephiroth: No chance in hell. He possessed the man she loved to try and hurt the party members. He burnt down her hometown and killed her father. Although they do look cute together *recieves glares from Zell and Tifa* they just wouldn't work out.
Yuffie Kisargi: Tifa seems to be sort of friends with Yuffie, but she was pretty damned pissed when the ninja stole the materia. LoL. Well, besides the whole materia thing, there really wasn't much between them, so it wasn't really much of a friendship.
Caith Sith: When Cloud went with Tifa in the Gold Saucer date, and Tifa seemed pissed off to high ends that he handed over the Keystone. But he helped out at the Gold Saucer, since the tram was out of order and he got everyone into the Ghost Hotel for the night, so he's not so bad. Then he helped get the Black Materia for Cloud, so that was nice of him. But other then that, still no bondage.
Vincent Valentine: I think they make an ADORABLE couple! Tifa's mature and Vincent's mature. Tifa's more cheery then him, so she could help open him up to his emotions. Vincent is (if I may say so) quite the lover, I mean, true lover. If the one he loves loves another, he'll feel pain, of course. But as long as that special person is happy, then he'll be fine with that. Tifa needs somebody like that (so that's why she has Zell! ^o^) And their last names even match up, Valentine/Lockhart. But nonetheless Tifa and Vincent could never be because Tifa already loves Zell UNLESS something happened between them. But that would never happen, 'cause Zell and Tifa love each other too much! ^^
Zell's Friends/Love Interests
Quistis Trepe: Quistis is a very intelligent, bright, mature and beautiful young woman. At the age of 15, she became a SeeD and the youngest Balamb Garden instructor. However, because of her young age, she lacked the leadership skills that most Garden instructors have. Quistis has admirers that had formed a clique known as "Trepies", so let alone her intelligence, she's quite popular as well. She cares for Zell and looks out for him. And they would've made a great couple... but hey! Zell's Tifa's, right? LoL.
Squall Leonhart: Squall is a very quiet young man who prefers to be alone. He doesn't want anyone to get close to him, including Zell. However, as time went on, Squall learned to open up to other people thanks to the help of Rinoa Heartilly. He was pretty concerned when Zell was in prison with the others, and strangly enough, he was sort of patient with Zell, but the two didn't interact much. So, it couldn't work out.
Rinoa Heartilly: Everybody's favorite little angel! LoL. Not really, but at least she's better then Aerith! Rinoa is very spirited and is very open with her feelings. She has the ability to make everyone open up to her, including Squall Leonhart and Zell Dincht. Whenever she needed a favor, she usually came to Zell, 'cause he's the reliable type, 'ne? And she did freak out when those prison guards where beating him, and he was concerned when they all turned to her. Well either way, he was nothing more then a dear friend to her, 'cause hey, she loves Squall, right?
Selphie Tilmitt: She's a sweetheart, just by looking at her you can see that. Selphie is from Trabia Garden and recently transferred to Balamb Garden to become a SeeD. She is very cheerful and friendly, and really, REALLY hyper and naive. When she became a SeeD, her and Zell were dancing around in the hallway, and when Zell was hurt, she was trying to heal him. I actually thought those two were gonna get hitched... until Irvine and Tifa came in. To me, Zell/Selphie would've been not only a great couple, but a damn cute one as well! LoL.
Irvine Kinneas: In an odd way, Irvine reminds me of Gambit from the X-men. He's the "southern" type and he just loves women! He was assigned to help Squall and the gang to stop the sorceress. Irvine tries to convince everyone that he's a misunderstood loner. A sharpshooter's life is tough because all energy is focused on a single bullet. Zell really doesn't trust him too much at first. He was all suspcious about his every move, and (if my eyes deceive me) he was a bit jealous that the cowboy was coming onto Selphie. But they turn out being good friends towards the end of the game.
Seifer Almasy: No chance. Seifer hates Zell. Zell hates Seifer. Seifer was the cause of so many Balamb students to be killed, and he continued to serve Ultimecia. Zell's a SeeD and is trying to fight him off. It wouldn't work out, so what's up with all the Yaoi?
Ulitmecia: Nope. She's the bad bitch in FF8. She hates SeeD. Zell's a SeeD. Wouldn't work.
Edea: This isn't anything relationship-wise, just in friendship. I mean, she is the headmaster's wife, she ran an orphanage, and one of the orphans was Zell. So I suppose he kind of looked to her as a mother, somebody who could take care of him, or somebody he could look up to. And that goes for Squall, Rinoa and the others. In all honesty, Edea must've been the sweetest, kindest person in the game... when she wasn't possessed, that is.

Overall, nothing could break up Zell/Tifa. (remember peeps, this is a Fansite, and I'm really not taking it seriously. Once I post up my Zell/Tifa story that the site was based on, you'll see what I mean.) As I said before, I do support Cloud/Tifa and Zell/Selphie, but this was just for fun. But fanfiction-wise, Zell and Tifa FOREVER!!!!!!
