+---------- Amet the Fool

[Italics are currently NPCs]
[Other family members do exist (in chronicle).  These are simply those known to be of the line to outsiders.]

Count Andre Pasternac
Elder of the Moon
Eldest of Berat
First Clan Head of the Malkavians in Australia

A mortal Count, embraced by a travelling Elder of the Moon in the 15th century, Count Pasternac  has ruled the line descended from him as the head of a royal house.  Until the late 19th century the Count lived as a relative recluse, emerging once every 20 years to attend a Salon somewhere across Europe.  It was here that he made the contacts and friendships which allowed his family to travel across the world over the centuries.  In his own homeland the Count considered himself an Ancilla - only claiming the standing of Elder when travelling to Australia, a place he viewed as filled with the refuse of the Kindred world.

Kostandin Pasternac
Elder of the Moon
Guardian of Vjore , Albania
Child of Count Pasternac

The eldest of Count Pasternacs children, Kostandin is the guardian of Vjore - the valley which holds the ancestral home of the Pasternacs.  With the aid of his child, Majlind, he has overseen the fortifications of the family home which has stood onslaught from many armies for centuries.  Kostandin is a master strategist, having fought the Ottoman armies as a child from the mountains around Berat.  During the 16th and 17th centuries, Kostandin become known through Britian and the Iberian Peninsula for his study of the forts and castles through these lands with his brother, Valon.  In these times it is said he developed close relations with a Nosferatu Elder, although little is truly known of either.  Through the last century, Kostandin has remained at the families home as it's guardian.

Vasfi Pasternac
Elder of the Moon
Guardian of Vjore, Albania
Child of Count Pasternac

Vasfi is the second of the Counts sons.  He has never travelled, and is unknown outside the Vjore valley.

Valon Pasternac - Deceased
Elder of the Moon
Guardian of Vjore, Albania
Child of Count Pasternac

The third of Counts sons, he died in defence of the family during the second world wars.  Valon was the master of construction, having learnt the skills of fort building as a mortal in service to the Sultan.  With him, many secrets of the family estates - their secret entrances and exits, the hiding place of gold and riches - have perished.

Marie Andrakas nee Pasternac - Deceased
Elder of the Moon
Former Clan Head of the Malkavians in Australia
Child of Count Pasternac

Mari was a true albino, believed to have been born early in the 16th century, somewhere in the Southern Pyrenees. Few knew what she looked like, though, as she commonly wore the fully veiled dress of a traditional Muslim woman - a hangover of many years spent in the Muslim controlled lands of Northern Africa. She was the childe of Andre Pasternac, and sire to Epiphany and Charles. Her death was brutal and unexpected, late in 2001, at the hands of a Tremere diablerist

Lorna Pasternac
Ancilla

Epiphany Jones
Ancilla

Lord Valentine Pastenac
Ancilla

Valentine was embraced in the early part of the 19th Century. He was known to have been an Officer in His Majesty's service during the time of the Napoleonic Wars. Indeed his style of dress remains now much as it was then, with the occasional addition of a broad hilted sword at his waist (which critics are quick to point out certainly was not fashionable at the time, and is of dubious fashionable value now).

While many Malkavians wear their madness on their sleeve for all to see, Valentine is not such a creature. Although his behaviour is occasionally erratic, he could never be accused of being childish or silly. He is a serious kindred, polite, pleasant and gentile, and is largely considered good company by kindred of the other Clans.

Livinia Pasternac
Neonate

Larissa Concordat
Ancilla

A native of a village several days north of Berat, Larissa was embraced by Mari Andrakas at the start of the 19th century.  She is known to have travelled with Mari for some time across both Europe and the New World.  She has been a travelling companion to many of the line, and now resides upon a family estate Northern Europe.

David Sean Cord - Deceased
Ancilla

Cord believes in Justice above all things. Boons, money, all these things that make the world function do so because of trust, and to Cord, this trust is the most important thing to exist. Without trust, there can be no society. Those who break their word are no better than violently anarchic misfits to Cord, who takes his word very seriously. Those who have attempted to manipulate him this way have ended up defanged, and worse. Cord has served as Sheriff through three changes in Praxis - focussing on his duty and his unswerving loyalty to the Camarilla to ensure the Domain does not lack in stability or strength.

Servants

The Herald
Amet the Fool, Elder of the Moon

Elder of the Moon

A self proclaimed Fool by choice, Amet is the herald of the family, and it's guardian in these nights. Amet entered the modern Camarilla soon after his arrival in the new world, taking the position of Primogen of the Malkavians in Philadelphia - America - where he watched over the family, whilst undertaking the political errands of his master.

Whilst he shares the duty to the Camarilla, and was once Oathsworn to the sect, he is content to spend time playing chess with his enemies over the more confrontational approach of his Master. This should be less than surprising given that, prior to his move to the United States, Amet rarely met other Kindred other than as a messenger across Europe for his master.  Amet left the Americas after the Conclaves which saw the Gangrel leave the Camarilla, and travelled to Australia to watch the mortal line once more.  It is rumoured that he brings with him others upon a crusade of sorts, although beyond the pursuit of a traditionalist Camarilla, these have remain unseen even to those who watch with great interest.

The Secretary
Steven Pasternac

Rumoured to be one of the Counts last mortal Children, Ghouled at the age of 20, Steven has handled the families mortal affairs in Australia for the last decade. He is also the chairman of the Albanian Immigration Commission - an internal NGO which places Albanian Refugees around the world.

The Guard
Majlind of the North

A former member of the Ottoman forces deployed to Europe, Majlind was head of the Ottoman garrison of Berat in the mid 17th century.  Since that time he has served as the master of the Pasternacs forces, creating a cadre of well trained soldiers who's prime goal is the defence of their family.  It is not known if he has travelled outside the valley since his embrace, or if he has sired any children of his own.
