For months now I've been thinking about posting some alternate endings to stories just as something different.  Picture Wayne's World with the Super Happy Scoody Doo ending.  Yeah, something kinda like that.

Anyhow, I got to thinking that I'd take one story at a time and do a DVD Extras kinda thing.  Post the alternate ending, and a writers commentary in it, etc.  Most of the time my stories change from how I originally intended them, so I can share tidbits about how things were going to originally go, etc.

There may even be artwork and illustrations involved.  :p

So that will be the next feature at Electra's Elsewhere.  :)

And if you have a fic you'd like to see me start with, feel free to comment or email me.  I'm all ears.  (I will likely start with Jack of Truths because it is short and there's a lot I can waffle on about with that one)  :p

This post has nothing to do with my site.  It has to do with my fics.  It's been brought to my attention that I have a habit of including Wizard of Oz references in my fics.  It's honestly not something I noticed or intended.  *lol*  Anyhow, I'm trying to compile the references so I can see how lame I truly am.  If I miss any and you remember one, let me know.  :)

So far:

The Replacement -- Mentioned the "great and powerful Wizard of ..." before Buffy passed out.

Parallels -- Mentioned that they weren't in Kansas anymore when they portal-hopped to the dinosaur dimension.

Friends With Benefits -- Mentioned that the scarecrow was still looking for his brain when the little kid was picking his nose.

Into The Void -- Spike wakes up and says he had a dream and that they were all there.

Lessons In Leaving -- In the 2nd part, Faith refers to Willow as Glinda.

Walk The Line -- When Anya shimmers out, Andrew says, "My! People come and go so quickly here!"

After The Fall -- In Chapter 3, buffy calls the little gray dog Toto and says she's not in Kansas anymore.

Haha.  It's getting kinda trippy.  :p

Right, so it seems that no one is having a hard time with the update alert form except for me.  Technology hates me.  :/

If anyone else is having a problem, just holler and I'll hopelessly try to fix it.  :p

Right, so I've been trying to make the site more presentable and user-friendly since I'm really only posting updates here these days.  I'm learning new coding and stuff, and it's been going pretty smoothly.

So last night I tried to learn something new: some basic scripting so that I could bring back the update alert requests.

And it kicked my ass! 

Making the page look viable was easy, but getting the form to work was a bitch.  I thought I had everything correct, and every time I tried to test out the form, I get a new pages that says something like, "Oops! We only accept requests from Angelfire pages!"   

Then my girl tried it out and lo and behold, it worked for her.  Just not for me.  -_-  Anyhow, I linked the page and have it up and running, but I'm still afraid it won't work for some people like it doesn't work for me.

Anyhow, if anyone has problems with it, just email me and I'll try to figure it out again.
