The New Scene
In light of recent events in the local music scene of Northern Virginia, we decide that its time for change and, being sick of waiting or hoping for a new attitude to suddenly emmerge, have begun to take matters into our own hands. The scene here sucks and its up to you to help it change. So, the purpose of this group is simple: to bring together a group of local bands, venues, promoters, labels, whatever...all of whom have the common goal to salvage what we have left here in NoVa. We are all in the music business together. This union will bring together bands that will cooperate and respect eachother. Anyone who wants to be apart of this group is more than welcome to join...However, if you hinder the progress we are trying to make by talking trash about other local bands or in other ways selfishly hurt the scene we will no longer support your group (be it a band, label, you get the picture). Anyways, this is our site...feel free to look around.
