Stafford Volunteer Rescue Squad has been serving
the community for the past thirty years.
Popularly known as "Stafford Rescue1," we are an all volunteer squad
providing both Basic and Advanced Life Support to the community. Stafford Rescue1
was the first rescue squad serving Stafford County, Virginia and is located in
the eastern end of the County, just a stones throw from U.S. Route 1,
next to The Stafford Courthouse.
Our (LINKvehicles) consist of three ambulances, all of which are equipt as "state
of the art" ALS units, one Rapid Response Vehicle and a "Chief's"
vehicle, both of which are also fully equipt to provide Advanced Life Support
as needed. All have onboard communications systems, consisting of Cell Phones,
County Communication System Radios and "H.E.A.R." Radios that provide
direct and immediate contact with "Medical Control" in the local areas
hospitals Emergency Rooms.
