Crappie
This is a 15 1/8" citation white crappie I caught in a private lake here in Virginia. It weighed in at 1.8 pounds and was released. I hung this slab fishing a 1/16 oz. yellow grub along the top of a deep beaver lodge. |
Here's a nice stringer of black crappie I recently caught in Swift Creek Lake. We actually caught about 55 but only kept enough for dinner. All fish were caught on small spinners and grubs. |
These are two of my fishing partners (Cory [left] and Dale [right]) with a few of the day's nice crappie. We caught a cooler full in The Highlands' private lake on grubs and minnows. |
