The Rustlers.Many people wander 'bout how the Kid got back on his feet after the Regulators & the Lincoln County War were over. well the Rustlers are the answer! The Rustlers were the 2nd gang of Billy's. they formed after the Lincoln County War. Though most of The "more" famous members of the Rustlers were originally part of The Regulators in the first place made it even better for the outfit of well.... "Rustlers" cause some were alredy well aquinted.but this gang of Billy's didnt last as long as The Regulators did. The Regulators were larger than the Rustlers. and in all in all The Rustlers wasnt around long enough to really leave a mark on their crimes & types of stuff they were thought to do. really all the Rustlers were was a little thing that Billy was doin' to try to put a gang back together again but it didnt last very long. I would MUCH rather have the Rustlers not have even happened and for the Regulators to have stayed together and kept on a ridin' but as it says it didnt happen that way at all!The Rustlers was the 2nd & the last gang of Billy The Kid......................
