Rotary Club Blood Screening will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2002 from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The cost is only $30. You must fast for 12 hours before the test. Call 951-8988 to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins will be accepted after 9:00 a.m. Bring $30 cash or check made payable to the Christiansburg-Blacksburg Rotary Club. Test results will be mailed to you and to your physician (so bring his/her address with you as well).
The blood screening includes over 30 tests: A/G ratio; Alkaline Phosphatase; BUN; BUN/Creatinine Ratio; Calcium; Chloride; Cholesterol; Creatinine GGT; Globulin; Glucose (Blood Sugar); Hematocrit; Hemoglobin HDL Cholesterol; Iron; LDH; LDL Cholesterol; LDL/HDL Ratio Osmollality; Phosophorus; Potassium; RBC; Red Blood Indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC); SGOT; SGPT; Sodium; Total Bilirubin; Total Cholesterol; Total Protein; Triglycerides; Uric Acid; VLDL; WBC.
