News stories since July 12, 2002...

February 23, 2005: Executive Airways is now affiliated with Austair, Australia's premier virtual airline alliance. We have also officially registered for the use of the virtual Brisbane domestic and international terminals. More news as it comes to hand.

February 20, 2005: Welcome to the revised edition of Executive Airways! After 18 months we're back in operation, with the timetable that was added just before our last premature decline. As for our stock, a request has been sent to the VASX that the ExecAir account be reactivated. We'll keep you posted. This web site and virtual corporation is now running in conjunction with Binnsy's Hovel, the personal blog of the CEO. If anything major happens it will probably be posted there before this site is updated, so be sure to bookmark it. Meantime it's great to be back again. Over the past week or so I've logged about 3 hours of flight time, and this will be steadily growing! Cheers all,
Dan Binns, CEO

October 3, 2003: A few changes to report. A new item has been added to the Executive Airways Online Store which is a must for all pilots. The Executive Airways journal is extremely handy for recording flight times, staff meetings and important events like flight shows or presentations. To order your journal, visit the Executive Airways Online Store by clicking here. Also available for purchase are all our other stock, such as t-shirts, boxer shorts, coffee mugs, mouse pads and the new 2004 calendar. We've also got a new logo! Although the old one will still pop up from time to time, the newer logo will be replacing it in several instances. Once the web team gets around to changing it the logo will be visible on all of the pages of this site and any new additions to the Online Store will also sport the new design. Please visit the forum regularly for all the latest updates and corporate goings-on - you can also post comments or ask questions. Also, join our mailing list to keep up-to-date.

September 29, 2003: Welcome to the old Executive Airways site! Due to the fact that the new site was way too hard to manage, the web team unanimously voted in favour of reverting to the old setup. However, lots of changes happened since we changed sites. On the new site there was heaps of stuff that was needed on this site. So at the moment we are in the process of converting all the new stuff from the new site into old stuff style - if that made any sense (that's how the web team put it). Things like the timetables, passenger and freight booking forms, the HUBs list and more will be converted back to the old layout in order to flesh out the site. In that way we hope that the site will be easier for you to view and navigate, easier for us to manage and a better site in its own right. In the meantime though, please understand that this web site is under construction. Thanks.

April 10-September 28: All news between these dates was not archived. During this period the supposedly new and improved web site was in operation. This site proved to be too difficult to manage, and thus the old site was revamped.

April 5, 2003:

February 6, 2003: A Message from the CEO: "Hello to all our loyal visitors and to newcomers as well. I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas holiday and I'd like to wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year. I apologise for our not meeting our deadline with regard to the web site redesign. However, I am currently in negotiations with a company that may be able to redesign our web site professionally and efficiently. More news on that soon (stick to the Mailing List for web site developments). I'd like to welcome our newest pilots, Darrin Ellis, J Keup and Antonio Guiseppie. On behalf of all of Executive Airways I hope you enjoy your time flying for us. That's about all from me. Hope you all are keeping happy and healthy. Until the next update, Clear Skies and Good Flying to you all!"
- Executive Airways CEO, Dan Binns

December 16, 2002: Stage 1 of the re-contruction is complete. Stage 1 was the changing of the URL. Please update all your bookmarks to www.execair.tk. Please take advantage of all the info services that have been provided on this site, i.e. the Y! Group and the Mailing List. These are all very active and will keep you up-to-date now and in the future.

October 4, 2002: Executive's marketing division are proud to announce the launch of EA's new online store. From this store you will be able to purchase merchandise sporting the Executive Airways logo and pictures of our aircraft. Dan Binns said that he hopes this will encourage people to support EA. "If people are wearing Executive clothes, drinking out of Executive mugs and using Executive mousepads, our logo will be all over the place. This will hopefully encourage an impulse of interest." You can visit the Executive Airways Online Store by clicking here.

October 2, 2002: Management wishes to apologise for the lack of updates in the last few weeks. Technical difficulties and personal engagements have restricted update capabilities. However, Executive is still alive and still very much flying as usual. The CEO wants to stress that we need more pilots. A VA can't operate without pilots. So get those registrations in and help keep us alive. Also, the October issue of our inflight magazine, 'e' is now ready for mailing out. Sign up for the magazine below so that you can read about all the latest goings-on in Executive. Please also be aware that 'e' is available in Internet and print form. Email binnsy326@hotmail.com for more info.

September 6, 2002: A note from the CEO:
"Hi everyone. I'd just like to thank all who pass through this web site. Not just those who are actually interested but also those who are just passing through. We have gotten over 320 hits, and I'd like to reach 500 by the end of September. So keep coming back and encourage others to visit as well. I'm really happy with the way the VA has progressed. The September edition of our magazine will be out soon, so please sign up for it below. Also, I'd like to encourage everyone to leave a message in our forum. Anything can be discussed in there, or if you'd just like to leave a note saying you were here, that's cool too. I hope you are all well and good flying to you all!"

August 31, 2002: Executive today unveiled its brand new Boeing 737-400. The newest addition to the EA fleet is sure to strengthen EA in its operations and popularity, said Dan Binns yesterday. "I am extremely proud of our new baby. Our painter Mr. Stephen Hames has done a spectacular job and he'll be painting the rest of our fleet." You can download the 737 on the Fleet page.

August 26, 2002: The news archive for the EA site has been uploaded. Follow the link under the "Latest News" item which will be on the front page to get there.
We need pilots. Please consider this very seriously. If you would like more information about anything, we can mail a brochure to you. This brochure contains basic info about EA and what we do. We can mail this brochure anywhere in the world. Simply email execairways@iprimus.com.au with "Brochure" as the subject and we'll mail it to you straight away.

August 18, 2002: Executive Airways is now compatible with Flight Simulator 2002. Those who regularly visit the Forum will already know this. But the HQ also recently purchased a Force Feedback joystick, so all is well. Not much else to report. Apart from the fact this we need only 8 more pilots and then we can expand to the United States. Please apply! And when the web division gets time they will make a news archive because this page is getting way too big.

July 30, 2002: Executive today opened new routes to cover nearly all of South East Asia, and announced five new HUBs: Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Saigon, Bangkok and Manila. New flights have been posted in the pilots lounge to reflect these changes.

July 26, 2002: In Executive's biggest business maneouvre since its founding two weeks ago, an alliance has been formed with up-and-coming VA Central European. CEVA CEO Stephen Hames said that the two VAs will form a healthy and prosperous team. "We formed an alliance and we swap ideas but we are not going to merge the two VAs," he said today. "We want to remain independent and we've challenged ourselves to run our VAs successfully for one year," Dan Binns commented. "This will show the world that teens can do something in this industry."

July 22, 2002: CEO Dan Binns today announced the unveiling of the ETS, Executive Ticketing System, which makes Executive's customer operations even more unique. The new tickets will be sent out to customers within 12 hours of their booking. Dan says that the booking process for Executive should stand out from the others. "If we're not unique, there's no point in existing," he said yesterday.
