My thoughts:(Game 1)
1. I (we) cannot be upset about a loss when our ace
gets shelled the way he did. It is completely
unforeseeable, it’s like that girl you were in love
with from high school but never talked to, calling you 10 years later and asking for a date, i
cant be upset at anyone or anything but schilling.

2. A. Granted hindsight is 20-20, but as the game was
going on, I do no understand 2 things, One, why
Dave Roberts did not pinch run for Manny, granted
many scored, so this becomes a question of Defensive substitutions, but the only way we would have
missed mannys bat is if the game would have
continued into extra innings, and even then, most
likely not until the 11th, but more likely the
12th. Dave Roberts would have taken the angle
on that ball, and we would be down one.

B. Why was Timlin still in, I was screaming at the TV
to take him out against matsui, there is one reason
on this earth for Mike Myers existence,
Hideki Matsui, granted, maybe “francoma” knew
something I didn’t b/c matsui popped up, but timlin
was still left in, Timlin has been overworked of late, and has little success without
proper rest.

Alas, we lost the game in fittingly Red Sox style..
