Dewey Beach Trip, July 2001

The first official trip since "the baby" was to Dewey Beach, Deleware. We rented an oceanfront condo for a week, and some of our friends were able to spend some time with us while we were there. Here are some of our favorite pictures!!

Catching the Rays at Dewey Beach!

We had a terrific set up at the beach! Every day, we would make about a hundred trips down the stairs to the beach with our gear. We had umbrellas, a way-cool tent, an outdoor playpen, towels, toys a loaded cooler for baby bottles AND adult lemonade, and lots of sunblock!!

Causing Trouble!

Well, moms and dads got a bit of a vacation, but these three liked to keep everyone pretty busy running around. Down to the ocean, back to the sand, in for a nap, in for lunch, out to the pool, etc..... Jake, Spencer and Emma in their "habitat".

Fun in the Sand!

What's a beach trip without a little (or a lot) of sand in the diapers??? The only time we were able to get any rest was when Emma got buried in the sand!! That didn't last for long though.....
