World War II Sites here in the US
There are many places dedicated to WWII.  Here is just a sampling:

This is the website for the U.S.S. North Carolina (BB-55) berthed at Wilmington, NC. Take a visit. I'll put pictures of my visit on soon.

Patriot's Point, SC is in Charleston.  It had the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Yorktown (CV-10), destroyer U.S.S. Laffey (DD-724), submarine U.S.S. Clamagore (SS-343) and the Coast Guard cutter U.S.S. Ingham (WHEC-35).  Awesome place to visit.

The aircraft carrier U.S.S. Intrepid (CV-11) is berthed in New York harbor and she is a sister to the Yorktown in Charleston.  I personally haven't been there, but have heard many great things about it.

The battleship U.S.S. Massachusetts (BB-59) is berthed at Battleship Cove, MA, which is near Boston.  Again, I haven't visited this ship, but have heard wonderful things about the ship.

This is the website of the national D-Day Museum.  This is another museum I plan to visit.  We owe this museum to author Stephen Ambrose.  Mr. Ambrose, if you ever visit my site, thank you.

This page is an insignia page for the US Army.
