Viscera is still a developing charecter and hasn't had many important matches. He has, however, had a few. A feud with "Sexual Chocolate" Mark Henry reached its peak in late May. Mark challenged Viscera to a gorilla press slam match, in which the victor is the first person to lift the other over their head. Henry was unable to lift Viscera all the way over his head, however Viscera succeeded in press slamming the 400 pound Sexual Chocolate and scored the decision. Above is a picture from this match. In early June Viscera had a King of the Ring qualifying match on Sunday Night Heat against "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn. In a closely fought match, Viscera was defeated by Billy, who went on to win the tournament. On October 25th, Viscera challenged the Godfather to a "winner take hos match" and emerged the victor. At Metal on October 5th, Viscera and Mideon teamed up against the Acolytes in a highly entertaining match. The Acolytes had to illegaly break up a pinfall and isolate Mideon to win this tight match. Another great match between these teams occured two night later on Sunday Night Heat. Once again Viscera and Mideon worked well together, and the Acolytes were forced to use a chair, thus getting them disqualified. In December 1999, Viscera finally received a shot at WWF gold in a title match with the Big Show. Viscera fought hard, and proved he was worthy of main event status, but still fell to the fellow 500 pounder. At Wrestlemania 2000 Viscera went in a hardcore battle royal, where by the last wrestler to score a pinfall before the 15 minute time frame was up would crowned the new hardcore chapmion. Crash Holly entered the champion, but lost the belt within 30 seconds to Tazz. Viscera oinned Tazz a minute later, and held the belt longeer than any wreslter. Viscera was on top for 6 minutes and 15 seconds, before the Acolytes doubled teamed him and allowed Funaki to get the pin. How does this sound for a new catchphrase for Viscera: "Big Vis 6:15 says I Am Hardcore"?
