The Above Photo Was Taken Of Kirk and Myself
In Central Park, New York City
On August 3rd, 2002.

Hi, my name is Judy.
I'm married to my best friend, Kirk!
We live in the city surrounded by God's protective mountains, known as Roanoke. There is a huge man-made star which overlooks the Roanoke Valley, atop Mill Mountain; hence the name of Mill Mountain Star Because of our star, Roanoke is also known as "The Star City Of The South". Kirk and I were married in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the Roanoke Valley, beneath the Mill Mountain Star at 11AM on Aug. 2, 1980. It was truly the most beautiful day.
We have 1 son named Keith, whom we love with all our heart. He has chosen to remain single, at the moment.

I love serving THE LORD MY GOD and presently serve Him in a small church in the country known as Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. I believe that every denomination who believes in God, The Lord Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit shall be saved, and will live together in Heaven one day as ONE Christian church.

I have been a hair stylist since graduating Cosmetology school in June of 1975 (I just keep practicing & trying hard to get it right ~ tee-hee). My salon is a

LOCKS OF LOVE

donor salon! If you would like to donate 10 inches or more of your hair, wigs can be made out of your donation for children who have lost their hair, due to long term medical conditions. Many salons like mine will give free haircuts to people who are willing to donate their hair to this wonderful and worthy cause.

I do wish more people would give of themself to help out others in need! The Locks of Love program is a wonderful way to begin!

I admire my PARENTS so much and appreciate them having always "been there" for me, regardless of my many different situations, throughout my life. I feel so rich to have such wonderful parents & thank God for them!
On a sad note, my Dad passed on to Heaven on January 25, 2007. It is sad for us, but yet, we are happy to know where he is...with Jesus, walking in paradise. We will miss him and never stop loving him...not ever!

I also thank God for my "spunky" sister Jeannene, who loves life so much. She is such a blessing to all who come in contact with her; a "one-of-a-kind" gift from God! She has taught me so much throughout this earthly journey of life; especially regarding

Jeannene has such inner strength and the ability to do whatever she sets her mind to do. She is definitely a child of the one and only King...The Lord God Almighty! Though we are miles apart, we really aren't, because we're right "there" in each other's heart! Love you dear Sister!!!
