Walk Out
By Kenneth R. Cabrieto

I spent how much on a peice of paper
          So one year later
          I can glue boxes shut?

          Walk out.

Wake up at four in the AM
Work 'til five in the PM
OT's nice but maybe not worth it.

          Walk out.

The four hours of sleep I get just ain't cutting it.
The caffeine pills I dropped are only makin' me sick.
A danger to myself and others.

          Walk out.

My arms are all cut up
          I look like a slicer
And my hands - they used to look nicer.

          Walk out.

My job is a job for two (maybe three)
But the super wants me working solo
Strugglin' to keep up but I can't in the end.

          Walk out.

Feeling inadequate as the boxes pile up
Can't stand the people who talk down
Unable to ignore whats goin' on in -

          Walk out.
