Outline

     The other day I was watching the only movie we ever really saw,
     Together.
     It was strange, because looking at it now,
     That movie was like an outline of our relationship.
     To a point, at least.
     It's sort of funny the way things turn out.
     If we knew back then,
     That the characters were just representations of us,
     And the plot a parody of our lives,
     Do you think we still would have gone on the way that we did?
