Needs, Wants and What We Do

     It's hard to adjust your life
     When every night you poison it
     With something herbal.
     Weed may be natural,
     But not everything in nature is good for you.
     If you hold a steak in front of a tiger,
     Sooner or later that bitch is going to jump you.
     That's true with all living things.
     When you have something they want,
     They'll do what they have to do to get it.
     Sometimes I wonder,
     Is this all a need
     Or is it just jealousy?
     Sometimes the fools around my way,
     Go out of there way
     To takk what I have.
     If you want it,
     Work,
     Like I work.
     Just because work isn't honest,
     That doesn't make it easy.
     Instead of losing time and sweat,
     I've lost a little bit of my humanity.
     When all of that goes away,
     Everything goes away,
     Even those fools you thought were your friends.
     They were only really there,
     Becuase I had money.
     Now that I'm broke,
     The 'friendships' been broken as well.
     I don't get mad at these fools.
     As long as I change myself for the better.
     I won't have to see them in hell.
     With this as my fuel
     I strive on.
     One day I'll be on top again,
     And again...they'll all want what I have.
