Lost

     I took a chance I shouldn't have taken.
     Feeling foolish in the end.
     Told you how I felt.
     Told you it was real.
     It's been real since the beginning.
     All those years ago.

     I just never
     Said
     Anything
     Because
     I was afraid.

     I fought that fear
     And beat it.
     Now,
     I wish I had lost,
     'Cause then
     I wouldn't have lost you.
