Just Waiting

           Of all the time we've spent together,
           There's one time I remember best,
           The night you wore that little black dress,
           The same day we first met.

           Ever since then we've been side by side.
           Our love always put to the test.
           We will last together forever.
           Much longer than the rest.

           Today was spent like every day,
           My thoughts just mostly of you,
           And I know in my heart,
           That you feel the same.
           Nothing could be more true.

           That's why I love you.

           I can't wait until we see each other again.
           I want to feel you next to me,
           With your warm body,
           In my loving arms.
           I'll protect you from any harm,
           And I never need to ever worry,
           You are my lucky charm.

           Until the hours pass,
           And I can see you again,
           I'll just sit here and miss you,
           The love of my life,
           my girlfriend.
